I don't understand how any Fire Emblem fan would be happy about this. I saw NOTHING of Fire Emblem in that trailer.

This may have as well be called "Persona Except Not".

It didn't really look much like persona either except for showing some kids in school uniforms and a guy running around in a city. That's kinda like saying it looked just FE because there were people in armor.

I think we really need more info to draw any conclusions.

It's a life sim with RPG elements, probably waifus as well.

It doesn't have Persona's thematic art-style, but hopefully it makes up for that by not having atrocious dungeon crawling.

At least they had Fate/Extra and BRS going for them. Not all their output was as bad as Tokitowa. Heck, I don't think any of it is.

Yeah, that's what kind of makes it weird, and none of that is a confirmation; just my assumption. But I feel like they might have been talking about it as "unconfirmed" because the title isn't really "SMTxFE" anymore.

The only persona connection I'm getting is that there's high school kids. Other than that the character designs don't look like Persona at all. The music doesn't have a Persona feel. The Battle system didn't look very Persona like...and there's pretty aggressive in-your-face fanservice on top of all that...

I love Persona and I don't get Persona from this at all.

A few years ago I would have been with you. Then Persona 4: Dancing all Night happened.

I actually liked the trailer. Even though I love both SMT and FE, a crossover between the two didn't seem appealing to me at all. I like how this trailer made it seem more like it was its own thing.

Wow seems to be a pretty decisive game. I think it looks great personally, I also enjoyed SMTIV and Soulhackers more than any other SMT game so there's that. I await the combat scenes, but the destroyed city, the "map" or whatever reminded me of SMTIV, and the protags in SMTIV are also high school age kids so... Im excited!
