I feel like I'm insane for thinking this doesn't look much like persona at all, given all the Persona comments.

The only persona connection I'm getting is that there's high school kids. Other than that the character designs don't look like Persona at all. The music doesn't have a Persona feel. The Battle system didn't look very Persona like...and there's pretty aggressive in-your-face fanservice on top of all that...

I love Persona and I don't get Persona from this at all.

Again, this trailer is not necessarily everything that's going on with the game. Obviously this was a Fire Emblem character perspective. What happens when we get an SMT perspective? That's what we'll find out.

There's clearly SMT stuff going on, the originals are summoning demons.

And SMT isn't even in the title. Face it, that facet is dead and gone.

Definitely more like a Megami Ibunroku title. High school students with demons.

The fanservice is so in your face that I can definitely see it tuning a lot of people off. Cannot imagine that it will do particularly well in the West because of the art direction either.

From what we have seen so far, there are two different worlds (real and wherever it is that they fight), and I think that they have shown enough for people to form an opinion about this. It's not like it was some barebones tease... this is a full on trailer with the theme music and gameplay and animated cutscenes galore.

Yup, I think this looks pretty neat.

It's weird when you look at the new FE though which seems much more like mainline SMT what with the factions/alignment stuff.

The initial reveal showed smt4 characters if i remember right and had me hyped up. This looks much more like persona x fe I get why they did it though.

Hopefully the battle mechanics take the best from both series.

I'm honestly still amazed it looks like a full on rpg though, I was expecting it to either be cancelled or be a smaller scale rpg.

This is me at the moment. The original reveal gave such a different feel. They should have not revealed it so early.

I'm just disappointed my wet dreams from 2 years ago have turned into this. That's what I get when a game was revealed so early it used old concept art of characters and led me to believe it would be an actual cross over.

We've seen less than 2 minutes of the game and barely know what's actually going on with the setting. I personally don't want to jump to conclusions, but you can decide that you've seen enough to.
