, i think that is a scripting bug. I think the programmers want you to
jump down after him. If you rather sprint all the way around instead of jumping down, he will just run the same pattern over and over again. If you jump down after him, he will go to the area that the developers intended.

I did jump down after him, and missed the falling attack of course lol. Im talking in his final room, the caged room. he just tried to punch me a few times, and I said "thts cute" and wacked him with Ludwig a few times and he keeled over

No you don't get invaded if you ring for coop, that's the problem. You only get invaded if there's a bell woman. So here's how it works:

How it works is a person rings a bell. No bell lady shows up UNTIL they find a coop partner. Then the bell lady slowly spawns, then she will after a delay rings the bell. Now this gives them PLENTY of time just to kill her before she even rings the bell, or just phase through the boss door. Hell her spawn points are static, so you can just go where she spawns. ring your bell and kill her soon as she spawns. So invaders never get a window to actually invade unless the person is flat out stupid or looking for a fight.

People should seriously start buying blood vials with left over souls or use the blood echo items to gain souls and buy vials. I had to farm for vials once in progression of the main game. And that's because I was dead set on killing some optional hunters and wasted everything.

Buying vials plus some smart usage on vials leaves you with plenty. Especially given that certain bosses have enemies that drop vials all the time.

There were additional benefits to being in human form, though.

I also don't think even that is the same. If you try to invade in other areas you're mainly gonna get people right before the fog door, and you have zero ways to prevent that in this game. You can't stop the animation, so it just wastes your time.
 
I just tried duping Dungeon materials but I can't empty my storage.
I have 2 fucking Tiny Music Boxes and I can't sell/discard one.

Back to grinding
 
I have yet to see it but why people call the third ending the true one?
Isn't like the other Souls that theres not cleary a cannonical or true ending?

You don't necessarily have to farm in a boring sense though... Just ring the bell and help someone kill a boss you've already done or something. Easy, quick and satisfying.

I just got it, I'm in the UK.

It eventually let me through after a while.

Anyone having any issues logging into online mode? Says it 'could not verify Playstation Plus on your account', when I was just playing some ufc online 5 minutes ago. Mine has 6 days before its renewed so I dont know whats going on.

Ah ok, i see. If you dont jump down after him and just run around instead, he actually wont attack you at all.

I see. Yeah, i noticed that earlier today actually when i suspended the game. Once i started the PS4 again, the game thought that i was still connected for 5 minutes.

right-hand door in Cathedral Ward was open
. I made it all the way to the top, but there's a locked door (just past the chest with the
Radiant Sword Hunter Badge
in it) that I can't open. What do I need to unlock it?

A key, but it comes much later in the game
 
OK, so where is this ladder in the Lecture building and where is the giant? I'm there now and I've looked everywhere. I can see an upper floor but it appears to be merely cosmetic.
 
Yea when you actually get some PvP action it is really sick. I invaded in the forgotten woods and almost won a 1v3.

the covenant thing didn't work, tried it with rubenov. We ended up co-oping and did the first three bosses of NG+ is < 40 mins :-D

Yup, PSN seems like it's down, can't even get into the online store. There was also a tweet about them knowing some players were having trouble logging into psn from the official twitter but that was 5 hours ago.

I was able to get on just fine about an hour and a half ago but then I was going to quit and rejoin the game and when I did it told me that verify thing.

I personally don't think it's a bug. I think if you stagger her when she's going to do it, she stops/doesn't get chance to do it.

I dunno I joined someone's game in the
Unseen Village
, they got invaded and it was not a fun place to have an invasion. Well, maybe it was fun for the invader...

I can respect Myazakes vision for the game, and many players will still experience that, but let players play how they want. Whether they wanted it or not, formal PvP became a huge attraction for many players. Yes, random invasions is how the game is designed, but so is dueling. Both Dark Souls had PvP factions based on this very thing, so there is no reason to discount it. Players may have taken it to another level with Fight Clubs etc, but the game systems were developed to support it.

Bloodbornes lack of formal dueling is a problem for a big chunk part of the community. They will put up with it for now, but there are only so many random invasions against scrubs, gank squads or cowardly running vial spammers that serious PvPers will put up with in between proper battles before quitting.
 
every time i try to use the bell to play online i just lose my connection a few minutes later and the game boots me to the main menu. This is fucking annoying
 
Once you get to the nightmares the witch rings her sinister bell almost as soon as you spawn in without ringing anything. Been invaded several times right at the damn lamp trying to coop with the little bell. Pretty fucking irritating actually when you just want to explore and haven't even rang a bell.

Well, I think you'll find out eventually anyway, but all of those vortex effects are
created by these huge Chtulhu-like creatures that are hanging around all over the place. You can start seeing them early on by getting this particular "key" item from near the Hemwick whatever lantern, at the graveyard with all those dancing mad old ladies. There is a hut to the right side of the area and you can get the item by talking with the dude in the window. After getting that item, you can go get grabbed and the Watcher / Great One a) shows up properly and b) hurls you to a new area.

The process may or may not require a certain amount of Insight. I certainly had lots to spare since I hadn't used a single point when I did it. I did my 1st run 99% blind and only googled up stuff after I was convinced that I had reached the final boss and wanted to find out what I had missed. Still haven't looked up the exact conditions for it.
