So it looks like I've gotten up to the final boss....

As soon as I get him down to about half-way health, he always seems to become pretty aggressive, where I can barely get any more hits in. I think the best I've done is gotten him down to 1/3...feel like I should be able to beat him, but he always diminishes my health potions like crazy when I keep getting hit.

Can you even get a cooperator for that fight? I've tried ringing the bell before the entrance, but it never finds anyone, so I'm thinking maybe you can't summon there.

Why is it that I do so awful against the fire-elemental bosses on every souls game? I honestly thought I can solo against Shadows of Yahrnum, but the final phase threw me off. The snake summoning; why must you do this to me?

When entering the mist for the
Shadow of Yharnam
boss, my game is crawling to like 1 fps and it's driving me crazy. #_#

Restarted the Playstation, hopefully that fixes it. Is that a common issue?

Yeah that's the game. It's super annoying.

Heh, that's interesting. I used all my Insight to stock up on Fire/Bolt paper and the lady went back to being a static doll again who you can't talk to. You can still use it to level up, however.

didn't happen to me but others have experienced it. try also turning off and on the auto camera setting.

I read somewhere that more unspent insight changes some areas of the game/enemy attributes. Makes them more difficult? I also read that insight can be taken by some enemies. It was on a wiki somewhere. Dunno how true it is.

Anyway. I've beaten the following bosses:
Cleric Beat > Hunter Dude > Blood-starved Beast > Vicar Amelia > Witches of Hemlock
. Not sure where to go next. Can someone tell me which lantern I should be starting at to move forward?

Cathedral Ward/Grand Cathedral (its in middle). You can go through the place requiring a password now. My problem with BB is that it takes obtuseness too far in cases like this. You've no way of knowing you have a password.

I platinumed bloodborne.

Now I can take a break from it for a few weeks.

I feel so accomplished because the chalice dungeons are easily the hardest part of the entire game. I really wouldn't want to go through all that again.

Grats! I got it yesterday and feel the same.

It's a shame since I think the actual boss fight tied to the trophy is really cool, but you have to do a lot of bullcrap to reach it.

How do ya'll do all of the endings without having to go through NG+?

You have to back up your save before you go to
fight the final boss in The Hunter's Dream, when everything is burning
PS Plus/USB back-up. Get one ending, copy over your back-up, another ending.. and so on.

Edit: Yup, as said.. USB/PS Plus backup.

Thanks I know exactly where to go. NEVER would have guessed I had a password now lol. Is there any hint to it AT ALL?

FIRE PAPER
. Makes a HUGE difference. Never let her rest; keep behind her, keep the pressure, just hop back a little when she's about to swipe.

Thanks, ill try this... i just had her down to the point were she had no visible health left and she killed me. i almost cried.

from what I understand in the guide I am reading
its the stuff in iosefkas clinic. I already killed her before killing Rom.

I did that too.
you can still get 3 of that item and get the true ending, as long as you sent Arianne back to Oeden chapel. The other two are obtainable at any time before the final battle, one of which you'll get after a required boss

backup a save to cloud or USB and then red/l it.

Thanks for the heads up! Think I'll go for all 3 then as I have 3 of the umbilical cord items.

Damn. Lead Elixer is extremely effective against the final/second to last boss.

Able to take advantage of the regain system so easily.

yeah.

worst bug in the game by far..happens in many bosses and sometimes they can get a cheap first attack on you because of the slideshow fog gate bug.

Best not to hang back and try to dodge the snake attacks. Go at the Fire Wraith with everything you got. He's made of cupcakes and will die easily.

The 3
Hunters in the prison post Rom? Dead.
Fuck them guys, seriously. What great skill did I exert to complete such a feat? Well, I took a hard stand, took out my Ludwig Unholy and them promptly
ran the fuck into the jail cell and locked myself in it.

No shame.

Hahah, No shame, no mercy. Kill everything as you see fit. I certainly felt super cheap when I used the Hunter's Axes mad reach in the transformed state to hit at Father G over the gravestones.

In NG+, I just danced all around him since he is a total scrub after everything else you have to dealt with on your way to the NG+ itself. This was at Insight 99 too :p You can style when you get better. 'till then, everything dies as cheap as they have to.

Not a fan of the C
osmos
boss so far.. Far too much range. Any tips?

After a while of acclimation, I had good going sticking close and dodging to the left and inward. You can also kinda plant yourself to the backside, where the tail splits. Stand in the right spot and you usually move along with the beastie when it tries to turn.

Some people seem to be overwhelmed later on when it gets angry and
starts to shoot lasers at you,
but... I dunno, I never had any real issues with that attack. Died exactly once to it.

There are so many small details I love about this game, like how you can watch the blood fly through the air out of the point where you strike and enemy and splatter on a wall

I did that too.

about that one.

I have sent her back to the chapel. I also sent that crazy guy back there and looks like he killed the old lady that was in there. Can anything happen to Arianne?

tfw you're sitting on 66k in the forbidden forest and don't know whether to retreat or to grip your balls and keep moving forward lol

bold marks don't let me down!

Fire Paper + Numbing Mist (for when she tries to heal herself).

I didn't even know she could heal herself. I mean, it's assumed a "cleric" type enemy is going to heal, and she does do this thing where she starts kneeling and glowing, but I have never seen her health regenerate once out of my six kills.

It regens exactly when you said; kneeling and glowing.

I asked earlier but didn't get a response: are we sure Insight is linked to game difficult ala world tendency beyond little gimmicks? Because I've only lost insight once to an enemy that drains it, and otherwise haven't spent any. I'm sitting on like...48 at the moment. The game is totally management, but I'm curious if I'm steering towards an unreasonable difficulty spike or something.

Lure them back to the chapel lamp and kill them one by one.

Cheers guys, this worked. Isolating them was actually pretty fucking easy, killed each of the three on my first attempt.
