Pretty bummed that the Bell Maiden in NF does not respawn if killed. I liked that one invasion that came in and wanted to face some more folks.

Also, when I was at C
ainhurst
, I found a note that I think might go to A
lfred
. If I give this to him, will I still have an opportunity to join the V
ilebloods
later or will I have to switch it up on NG+?

Finally got to FINAL BOSS
Gehrman
his first 2/3 is relatively simple right?

It's just his last 1/3 where he's a little charged up? Any tips?

I found his last section probably the easiest if you're patient. Just keep your distance and he will occassionally do this attack where
it's like he's drilling into the ground and then does a big swing up
. That will leave him open for a couple seconds for you to take a couple swipes and then back away. Just stay patient and he shouldnt be able to do too much damage to you on the final phase.
If I add an attack type like arcane or fire to a weapon does that remove my normal bonuses? They seem to disappear.
Yes they disappear unless your weapon has some Arcane damage on it by default like the Burial Blade.

What level is good for taking on
the annoying freaking scary frustrating snake creatures of forbidden forest... I'm getting killed pretty easily and I'm at level 32 I think. Should I leave this behind and explore more? I think I found a cave in the forest and I haven't explored it yet....
. Any help would be great...

You can still join by doing something after completing Alfred quest

So...
I can hear a crying baby in Old Yharnam now. What's up with that? Was it like that before or is that something new after beating Paarl?

So I have a blade of mercy which has arcane by default, I cant add fire to it? Doesnt seem to work.

I want to make a fire weapon but the stats seem really low compared to physical and I have no idea if the extra effect is worth it. I messed with rapid poison but it seemed kinda useless.

I just watched a video of someone fighting
Margo's Wet Nurse
and this isn't how the battle went at all in the four times I've fought her.
She moves around slowly, flailing her arms. In the video she was warping around and summoning a clone.
What in the world.

What about
Micolash? Is he not supposed to cower in a corner the entire fight?

Join the vilehoods then give note to Alfred. That why you get both convenant rune. Also, you can resurrect the vilehood queen after Alfred kills her.

The game is fantastic! However, I wish that when using the Beckoning Bell, it would only use up the insight when someone has actually joined you. I've lost like 5 insight because no one will join (network set to worldwide), and when losing the connection to the network. It's pretty dumb.

You'll find out. Also pretty sure it was always there but fainter before certain events. It also depends on the area

There are actually a lot of optional areas and they are some of the best in the game

Yep. Only one I'm a bit iffy on so far is NF. No T
itanite
C
hunk
drops, bell maiden there is a
one-time deal
, the massive p
oison
areas, and those brain things. Also a bit of a navigational hell, with combat a pain due to so many little things on the map sticking out.

I really enjoyed C
ainhurst
and Y
har'a'ghul
(or however it's spelled) however, even if the bosses were the ones to give me the most grief.

OK I finally found it. It blended in with the scenery but isn't near where the mark took me.

Not sure how I missed that before. Too bad I lost all my echoes.

He casts Magic Missiles if you are far from him

Yeah that was probably my least favorite. Like you said I had so much trouble keeping track of where I was and getting around. I'm sure I probably missed stuff there.

Cainhurst Castle is an optional area like Painted World.

Totally, but you're not TRAPPED anywhere like Painted World in Bloodborne, right? Remember, you had to make it to the end of Ariamis to get back to Anor Londo.

If you want to be able to continue to parry throughout the game, yes

In what regard? Does parrying get easier with higher gun levels? Or does the window get smaller and smaller? My pistol is +5 right now. Should I be looking to get that higher?

Interesting. The wet nurse was the same for me. That it was a very easy fight. Maybe, bugged?

As for Micolash, he tried meleeing me.

70% of people have gotten the Cleric Beast trophy. A total of 10% have gotten one of the ending trophies. :lol

Come on people! You started it, you can finish it :)

this is a massive game. a lot of people don' have 5-6 hours a day on hand.

im currently 40 hours in and just at Rom atm lol. Still got a ways to go ( I think )

May beat it sometime next month :P

Any idea how to get in there. It says the
door doesn't unlock from that side and she keeps spawning more golems and I can't find her.

Yup,
when you first walk in and deal with the first big dude don't drop down lower (where the door and chest is). Stay up top and go left, that's where the bell ringing bitch is. kill her and I think a wheel chair gunner possibly, then look to your left a bit and you'll see where you can drop down.

If you're already down there I think there's a way to walk back outside and go back up the steps and across the small bridge so you can do it again... Did it earlier yesterday.

I think I'm gonna start going through the chalice dungeons now. I'm near the end of the game and haven't touched them at all and apparently they can be grindy? Still not sure how they work so I'll have to look at the guide in the op.

Are there enough items to upgrade multiple weapons on a first run through? I got a ton of twin shards in hemwick so my axe and cane now need chunks, but I bought ludwigs sword and wondering if I'll be able to upgrade that too, or should I focus?

Question: Is
Hypogean Gaol
the way to get to the 4th Boss or have I just skipped a giant chunk of game? I wanted to get here so I could level up my cane after
BSB
, but that was it.
