The game IS extremely easy compared to other Souls games, and pretty damn easy in general.

I wouldn't say that. The dodge mechanic is making it seem like it's easy because now instead of sitting there praying your shield holds, you can go on the offensive. The game is still punishingly hard and is a worth entry to the Souls brand.

Wait... is this like a known thing? Now I have to go around smacking every wall? Is there any markers for fake walls? Are there video's of fake walls in Chalice Dungeons?

This is the wall which vanished, the room contained 2 small-medium chests on the left and one small chest the wall was located in a straight line from the entrance.

So
vicar amelia left me a pendant that transforms into a gem and it says its more effective against beasts
So my noob doubt is, what are the beasts? only bosses?

late reply but to me it means "people in the world of Bloodborne that have chaged into animals." If it says darkbeast Paarl for example, it is a beast. I would guess this excludes aliens, ghosts, people, insects even. I used the blood gem in quesion I think for quite a while, before the enemies changed to things besides BSB and Amelia etc. I dont think I got until after these obvious opposrtuities though.

In no way is any part of bloodborne "extremely easy".

Manageable? Fine. Easier than dark/demons souls? Fine.

Extremely easy? No chance in HELL.

I agree, granted there are a lot of achilles heel tricks to use in Bloodborne, but the base difficulty is as high as ever and people are not doing as well at SL4 runs as we did with the other games.

Fast dodging isn't exclusive to Bloodborne, and those games were harder.

Yeah, as someone who didn't play Demon's Souls or Dark Souls I and II, I'm kinda let down by how straightforward Bloodborne is after all the hype. It was a bitch at first, sure, but once you get the hang of things it's quite easy to power through.

This game is in no way "easy in general". Once you learn the rules of the game, and have a bit of patience, it's certainly managable. But I would never tell an uninformed person looking for a good time that Bloodborne is a game they should pick up before they knew what they were getting themselves into. It's not easy.

Wow so some of the walled off door's can actually be invisible doors if you walk up to them... kind of tedious to try that for every one... but cool.

PS4 screenshot sharing.... you know of it?

Anyone love slaying Rom? I'm level 63 at his door.

Also, I finally got around to killing that
hunter
that loves spamming me with his
gatling gun
by shooting him off the ledge. But his items ended up floating in the air! Did I miss anything good?

I don't know. I am a Souls vet and my experience so far has been reasonably difficult. I do still have a ways to go so that could change, just beat VA as the most recent boss. So far I find it has been one of the more difficult in the series.

it had no shape of a door what so ever on the wall before i hit it just bricks like all the other in the room

Finished the game today, it was an incredible experience.

Only disappointing thing was how easy the bosses were, killed almost all of them first try.

This was totally the easiest game of my life. All you plebs need to GIT GUD like now. Aren't you guys ashamed of yourself? /s

This thread ...

But how do you find them? Are there any visible signs to look for? Just wait for a guide? Or go around and hit every wall in the whole dungeon?

No visible signs. If I find a dead end I just hit where I think doors would be and once and awhile it will be an illusion. Don't know how a guide will help with a procedural dungeon though.

If it makes you feel any better, I don't think missing one would be a big deal. I've just gotten ritual items in the ones I've found.

I've only had one glitch so far, ran into a room before the floor texture loaded and my heart seized up in my chest. Was a straight vertical drop into a lake. But then the texture loaded and i was fine. Scary as hell though.

Speaking of glitches, can anyone right-click on GAF today? I can't right-click, but only on GAF pages. Weird.

This is the same trajectory as all other Souls games. Once you get good, you don't lose that skill in said game.

I, personally, found BB to be the hardest Souls game. I struggled more with certain bosses then I did in my entire career as a Souls player aside from the initial learning curve back in Souls 1.

My overall difficulty, both enemy encounters and boss encounters would be:
BB > Souls 1 > Demon Souls > Souls 2

Well, I never really understood the leveling up. How do I do that? Give the lady in Hunters Dream my blood echoes?

yup, just riase either str or skll to whatever number was red when you click on the weosn in question. could also be blood or arcane if its guns or weird weapons.

My biggest problem with BB is that while our character change in the most significant way (combat wise), bosses stayed pretty much the same as in previous alterations.

I look at BB, and remember mostly DeS. Not one thing in this game reminds me of the Dark series before it. And I like it. My biggest issue with DS2, is the amount of gear options it had. I like a more traditional way, vbut that game spat some ridiculous builds.

BB feels barebones, but at the same time it feels much more focused. I like it, and I hope the next game builds correctly on all before it. Now for that chikage...

I think it was a bit easier, but there's no O&S cockblock to enrage the hell out of me. Pretty much every boss after them though, I just threw on my heaviest armor and biggest weapon and smacked the boss in the face until it died.

Yeah I bet no major items would be behind them. Maybe ritual items. Maybe a duplicate weapon. But nothing unique.

Only the "root" dungeons are random right. All the other chalice dungeons are the same for everybody. That is what I read at least. If so they could easily have guides to find the illusion doors etc in the non-random chalice dungeons.

Oh right. I remember reading that. I guess a guide will work then.

Should be just in front of her. Inside the room.

Yeah, but that's the Logarius' Seat lamp post. I saw a picture of a guy having Vileblood Queen's Chamber on the Awaken Above Ground lamp post list.

Wow, I must've walked right past it.
