When do I get the coop thing for Chalice Dungeons?
I have access to: Ptumertu Depth 3, or Hintertomb 1?
I've been trying that, but I always seem to get hit at least once by the magic. I usually run toward him, slightly on an angle. I've varied up rolling and trying to change direction, but only three times out of 20+ attempts have I managed to completely not get hit. I will try to vary it up again and see what I can do. At least losing to him made me go and investigate the Chalice dungeons finally. Those provide a nice respite from the main game.
Man, where can I get Bastard of Loran? I cleared out all of Ailing Loran Layer 3 where Fextralife said they would be dropped and I didn't get any.
Super annoying boss, but you can cheese him so easily. Just lock on, get a long weapon (hunter axe or transformed saw cleaver) and just keep backwards dodging until you get an opening.
Turns it into a joke. If you try to fight him head on... it's the most annoying, difficult fight in the game IMO.
It's definetely in Loran. You must have missed a chest.Otherwise....re-make it...

Just stay behind her and learn her attack patterns to find out what's safe.

I enjoyed this fight so much. I felt like a true hunter.Micolash is a turd.
Thanks, and thanks QuantumBro (can't multiquote since I'm on mobileGAF, which would also explain my bad spelling at the moment)! If you only met her in the beginning then go to the Tomb of Oedon.doesn't show up at the Cathedral till after you defeatEileenRom.
Don't think there is much consensus on a "best boss" if that's what you mean. Personally I don't think there's one as good as O&S but there's a few that are close.Random, but has the community decided on an early contender for this game's version of Ornstein and Smough? Not because it's two at once, but because the battle is so good and fairly well designed.

But on the fextralife wiki it says her second location is just outside Cathedral Ward, and third is at the Tomb. But maybe I've got my locations mixed up. Which lamp is the closest to her second location? I'm not by the game at the moment and don't recall the names of all the lamp locations!
Seriously GAF, is theworth it ? Should I farm over 100k for it ?Cainhurst Set
I assume shop items doesn't carry over to NG+ ?
I met her at 1, and got a gesture, but I've done everything needed to meet the requirements for 2, but she's nowhere to be seen. I'll look more after I've managed to beat this boss that just made me take a break. But I hope your right about just needing steps 3 and 4 - means there's still hope either way! Thanks for the help dude!As far as I'm aware, she shows up in four locations.
1. Somewhere in the sewers in Central Yharnam. (I've never run into her there)
2. Outside of Cathedral Ward after buying the key and opening the gate with it.
3. At the Tomb of Oeden fighting a hunter.
4. Right outside Grand Cathedral.
In order to complete her side quest, you only need to do steps 3 and 4.
Two are found in the lecture building
Another two can be found in the third layer of the Isz Dungeon
This is the easiest way.
Those were hidden pretty well in my chalice dungeon. You might have an area with suspension bridges over a large ravine, the Bastard of Loran was in a chest on the other side of one of those bridges and I never found it as a drop.
Also, plan in a few hours for Defiled Chalice Dungeon. That was by far the hardest thing in the game for me.
I enjoyed this fight so much. I felt like a true hunter.I pretended the guy knew death was coming and chose to run like hell. Bitch, you can run but you can't hide!
God that boss is killing me. Level 64 and could use some help.OK that's Rdone. Pretty annoying, but fun.om
Yes it is worth it and farming 100k takes like 5 min anyway.
So, you know the elevator glitch that people have been having? Mine fixed itself.
Basically, go to an area as far away from your current location as possible, then return. It should remove everything from memory and reset things once you go back to the elevator. To be fair, I played for a few hours in other areas (a few chalice dungeons included) so I'm not sure if you need to spend much time away or just force several loads.
Either way, got the shortcut and beat OR on my first try (NG+).
Music is a big deal to me so I'm always paying attention which gets me killed sometimes
But yeah, that one stood out as well as TOR's. Also the few locations with background music scares the shit out of me.
At the end of that zone.My main story progress is I have now arrived at, where can I farm that amount in 5 minutes ?nightmare mensis
At the end of that zone.

probably dumb question, how do you start a chalice dungeon?

I don't think there's a single gatekeeper "git gud" boss like O&S in Bloodbourne. Each boss seems to have a focus and there aren't a whole lot of human bosses that make you feel like you're fighting a skilled enemy rather than just a plain gigantic one. I think SoY tried to be the games' O&S, don't think it was successful.
Some of the non-boss hunter fights are brutal though.
