. Took him down on my fourth attempt using Ludwig's Blade +6. The first time I learned his moveset, the second time I got him down to a sliver of health, the third time I got one ht in before he completely wrecked my shit, and the fourth time I stunlocked him to death after getting his health halfway down. Also, I didn't get a screenshot, but every time he killed me, he turned to the camera and gave a big shit-eating grin. Does he always do that?!

And I'm currently lvl. 48 after those two boss fights. Am I underlevelled for what's to come?

You need to go to the forest. Go to the main courtyard(the one with the 2 giants) in the Cathedral ward and the passage is connected from there when you see Wilhelm you will know you are on the right track.

is likely to be the worst of the farming locations due to the really low odds for the drops.

The most important part of any such farming is making sure your Discovery is as high as possible. Equipping the two available 'eye' runes is almost compulsory for anything resembling a good drop rate.

Ugh stupid bells. I used 4 insights (beckoning bells) to try to connect with my friend on my first Chalice dungeon. He's done a lot and I haven't done any. I'm L66 and he's 76 so that should be fine. He joined my Chalice and we just waited by the lamp trying to connect over and over.

did you both have the same password? if it doesn't work straight away both of you close down the game completely and restart. Ring the resonant bell first and then the beckoning bell. Worked every time within 10-30 seconds for me

It has a good range and does some excellent damage at +10 when you have some good physical attack gems equipped. And of course, there's always the spin-to-win attack which can save your life in many situations.

I only cheesed it cause I felt like it got cheap a couple of times after getting him so close to death. Pretty fun fight though.

2 Hand R2 charged attack is goat

the push back can save you in 99% situations of the game and the damage is OP as well

? I can somewhat reliably get him to his obvious berserk phase, but I just can't reliably put any damage at all on him after that because I'm constantly in range of his garbage massive AoE moves that are one-shots because of the Chalice curse.
