I was looking to do that, you should be able to back stab him by holding down the R2 button then hit R1 right after, but a from the few times I dropped down there, I landed on some barrels and got his attention.

I'm using the kirkhammer now. I think I'm going to retire axe. It done its time, was very useful, like holding R2 to charge and then unleashing a sweeping attack that can take out many enemies.

In the forbidden woods there's only that boss, the area after the boss has also one boss, which you should do if you have no other options.

Bosses in the chalice dungeons hit like a brick. The only one I can turn my brain off on is the Merciless guys.

I just ran around and waited this phase was over. Then I move forward her, bait her swings, dash in, take a couple of swing, dash back. Very easy.

Sadly yes. You can kill her to get the items pertaining to trophies but you've missed some other stuff you get along the way(gestures mostly).

Probably both. It does have a ton of HP though. I kinda always feel like I need more damage. :/ I've been neglecting vit in favour of str and skl for so long >.<.
