Is there anything I should do before fighting R
om
? Don't want to miss out on anything, I heard things change at this point.

Someone said there there is something regarding an NPC at the optional Area C
ainhurst Castle which should be done before Rom

I flip the bird to
Nightmare of Mensis
pretty hard but goddamn the fight against
Micolash, Host of the Nightmare
is really fun.
That's probavly one of my least favorite areas, but I have to agree. The fights fun and creepy, and that voice actor was on point.

"Grant us eyes... Grant us eyes..."

Hated fighting the other boss in that area, but it's fight music is probably the most memorable to me.

OK so is there anything else I can do? I beat the game,
got the three endings, unlocked the Hunter's craft trophy, and now I only need the chalice trophy, weapon, trophy, and the level 15 blood gem trophy
Is there anything else that needs to be done, I rolled my save back to just before end game so I can go through and not miss anything, through some reading I found you can find a
red jelly and living string which you need for later chalices? And I also heard something about summoning the Cainhurst Queen with her queenly flesh?
Anything else I may have missed? Don't worry about spoiling anything for me.

On a side not the music when fighting
gehrman
is God tier

I have a New Game Plus question:
Does your Chalices & Chalice Dungeons carry over or do I have to fight the Blood-starved Beast to unlock them again? I'm at the endgame & just want to finish the story.

As a follow up question, do enemies in Chalice Dungeons change in the same way as enemies in the regular would in New Game Plus as well?

Chalice Dungeon difficulty & progress remain the same, keep in mind though that high level chalice dungeons are much harder than NG+ anyway.

Chalice progress carries over and the difficulty is fixed.

Oh, there is another boss there ? Now that you say it, i remember seeing spots where enemies where roaming but i didn't find a way to them. Going back now.

yea, it all carries over. and no, they don't change with NG+

You can find the
living string
by killing the
frenzy alien mother thing
, & the
red jelly
I think is at the
lecture building
(not sure about the last one).

I wouldn't worry about the
queenly flesh thing
, you'll only need it if
you tell Alfred where she is & he kills her, in that case pick up her flesh from her corpse & use it at the Daughter of Cosmos boss room to revive her

When I 100%'d it on my NA-account, I slept so, so much. I decided to play DkS PS4 afterwards but just as I bought it, I got invited to a Bloodborne LAN-party and I couldn't resist that shit. Now I'm back to not having slept in so long again... but I just got back from the LAN so I can finally sleep now... school tomorrow.. FUCK

We should blame Fromsoft for releasing two games side by side. I haven't reached a bed before sunrise the last two weekends now. The urge to sleep is strong, but the urge to play DS2 is stronger. Good luck not falling asleep at your desk tomorrow, doubt I'd survive a lecture after the gaming binge you've been on.

So what is the point of no return?
I just beat wet nurse and my house is on fire.If i go to Gerhman will it be the end?

Took this shot last night. Love the art style in this game.

End end end game spoiler:

Moon Presence boss was a huge disappointment. Had 4 vials left after Gehrman and thought I'll just give it a go and see what abilities it has, and I ended up killing it. Bit of an anti-climax.

I'm embarrassed to ask this but...I'm on NG+ and still don't know why there is yellow dot next to my QS bullet meter sometimes.

I definitely told Alfred where she was and he slaughtered her lol, what happens when I resurrect her?

So I was just invaded by someone & an enemy attacked, so I made the stop gesture so I can deal with the enemy before we resume the fight, & the fucker just backstabbed me, some people have no sportsmanship.

Chalice progress carries over and the difficulty is fixed.

Awesome, thanks.

I'm trying to get all the trophies & I know there is a weapon that I can only get in a Dungeon & a boss I have to fight in another. Could I manage those before going into NG+? I'm currently on Level 83.

If you beat him or submit you life yes. I say just do what you need to do before approaching him.

If
you consume all the umbilical cords (3 of them) you get another fight against Moon Presence after you killed Gehrman, so killing him doesn't necessarily end the game.

Awesome, thanks.

I just got the weapon last night, I was level 88, should be doable for you. The dungeon is tough, gotta be very careful.

I suppose that's true but on the off chance he one shots them both the game will end.

Man fuck BSB. Makes Flamelurker look like baby Souls.
BSB tips:

Never, ever corner it. You can't dodge around a cornered BSB!! I've seen so many people die because they got too aggressive and kept attacking while it was cornered. Calm down, back up, let him come out into the open. The beast actually has horrible aim! As long as you...

...Never stand in front of its face. Ever. BSB's "safe zone" is absolutely anywhere but directly in front of it. Doesn't matter how far away it is. You ideally want to face either of the skin flaps hanging from its sides.

In his third phase he'll do that charge up attack, right? If you're close you can knock him out of it with a heavy. Good opportunity for a visc.

You can summon an NPC hunter next to the stairs leading down and it's an active coop area to boot so help is fairly plentiful.

A torch can very briefly interrupt some of his lighter swings. He can be parried easily once you've got his timing down, too. But that's a lot of trial and error.

Edit:

Also, you want to be as close to BSB as possible while not being in his face. He's one of the easiest bosses to dodge at close range.

I assume that the origins don't have a huge impact on how well you progress through the game, are there certain areas that are much better than others when facing bosses, 'endurance' and 'arcane' maybe? I'm pretty new to this.

You can, I recommend that you keep all the areas open when you attempt to do the chalice dungeons, you need them so that you can farm stuff, if you do them at the start of NG+ you might need to progress & unlock a few levels that have those items. Although your level is too low for the later dungeons.

I think they could have stuck the Castlevania name on this and it would be a good castlevania game. Anyone else agree with me?

True, but here's the problem with this: Konami would NEVER make a game like Bloodborne now. Too difficult, doesn't appeal to enough people, etc...

I would LOVE to see a Castlevania reboot in exactly the same vein as Bloodborne. Speed, leveling, weapons, depth of lore, horror elements, difficulty, all of it. The only difference is platforming has always been important to Castlevania. Maybe From's next game can be called Transyldracula or something. :P

I've invaded and gotten a cannon to the face while bowing. I learned never to bow first after that.

It's cool, though. Some people want a duel; some people just want to kill you.

Starting origins only determine your initial stats. As you level up, you can put stats in whatever you want. So they don't have an effect outside the early levels.

Konami would be stoked if they had a non-MGS IP that sells as well as the Souls games.
