Don't bother grinding those. You're gonna be able to get a ton and even eventually be able to buy them with the massive amounts of insight you'll get. Though by the time I got to that point I had more than I needed.

I just beat the wet nurse. I am trying to get the one you get from killing the baby. Arianne is no longer in the cathedral. Is she located somewhere else when she gives birth?

hunter. One of the hardest things in the game for me so far for some reason.

I do actually enjoy fighting the Hunters, though. They're a significant challenge, and much more fun than the DS2 NPC invaders (whose seemingly infinite stamina made them a chore to fight, IMO).

from the cathedral lamp, Follow the stairs past the red creeper, then take the ladder down. There she sits in that alley of sewage and garbage

Beat the game tonight. Really enjoyed the final two fights as well (second try on both). 10/10 easily, working on new game + now really hope they are working on some DLC now because I will be all over that.
 
Something compelled me to do chalice dungeons on my second character and I've noticed that the Beast Claws while transformed make the most annoying sound possible and it never stops. This noise has risen to the top of my complaints, past the loading, because of how utterly annoying and unnecessary it is.

I hope this will be patched out, but I doubt it...
 
I'm probably gonna wait till the strategy guide comes out for a NG run and for
the true ending.
Gonna go with either a bloodtinge or arcane build as well as see how that goes.

Go down the stairs in the Cathedral Ward. She is in the in between area.
 
It's so much fun when you get summoned by somebody who actually knows what they're doing and the two of you just methodically destroy a difficult boss. Feels awesome.
 
So, I just used 8 shards (stones?) to upgrade the kirkhammer to +2, but now I'm finding I don't like the moveset. Is there a way to farm or purchase stones or did I just gimp myself because there's a finite number of those things?

Werewolves on the bridge do drop blood stones. And for me it was pretty frequently.
 
Beat the game....

game is really damn good, going to give back the ps4 I borrowed from my cousin and going to give him the copy I bought so he can play it.

Last boss was so damn good, beat him on my 2nd try, but I ran out of all my blood vials and was at 10% hp while he was at 15%. Got him on a visceral attack and just finished him off while he was still on the ground.

Going to slowly play NG+/Chalice dungeons when I'm at his house, did whatever I wanted to do in the game in my first playthrough.

Yep, I'm there now.. Hate that guy. I plan to poison him and back away. Going need to farm that level to get more echo's and buy plenty of poison knifes. Good thing area is huge in echo's.

Though they cost a lot. Do any enemies in the game drop poison knives?

Those things drop like crazy and you'll have the ability to purchase them later. I have like 500 in my inventory. Don't even bother farming. You're wasting your time.

Some do. You only need about 15-16. Throw one and it'll be poisoned. Just watch the health bar drop and when it stops moving, throw another knife. You can throw a Molotov every once in a while to speed things up a bit.

Just got VA on my first try, but I think I'm just overleveled. Getting wrecked trying to get to the Cleric Beast made me overly cautious...

I use the pistol and killed that boss entirely off parries so it's definitely not impossible.

Tbh I abused my blunderbuss the entire game and loved it :P I knew the timing, so I never felt like it was too slow :3

And it doesn't matter anyway. Would rather run through the game again with a different build since I know which weapons I want to use for next playthrough.

You'll find many more. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
 
Seriously, fuck Ebrietas. OP boss with fast movement, wide aoe and her charge is impossible to dodge. To top it off, the zone is so small, coop is nearly inexistant.

Just get in there and keep swinging and dodging. I got lucky and managed to win after like my 5th try.

Yep, I lured them one by one and killed all by one small and the giant one. Giant couldn't get through the door, so I threw everything at it. lol

Daggers, Poison Daggers, Molotovs, hell even Pebbles. I was like fuck this thing. xD

Not impossible to dodge, just difficult. If you're locking on, you're doing yourself a disservice.
 
I coop'd One Reborn and my partner decimated the guy, I need his weapon! I can't believe how good this game is.

Question, should I stop SKL at 25? It seems softcapped at this point but I want to do SKL based weapons. My Vit is 31 and End is 26.
 
The part of this game that stood out the most to me was the first couple of hours or so. That'll be the part I fondly remember a couple years from now. It's reminiscent of RE4's stellar village beginning.
