Did you log in first before checking out? Hola should be off when you're logging in, otherwise you'll be hit by 404 again.

I had no intention of buying it at a higher price than below $20 to begin with, so they got me to spend more than I would have if this didn't pop up.
The higher price seems okay for me, since I won't have to wait 6-7 months to find it at that price.

What about people who planned to buy it cheaper but now thought 'you know, I can get it a bit more right on launch day, I'll pay this' and spent more than they would have.
What about console players who rent the game.

I sort of wonder, but not that much because I have a feeling I have it figured out already. They planned on releasing a graphically updated version when the new consoles came out then again on PC, getting people to buy the game twice or even three times.
What about them? If you want a cheaper price, wait a couple months for the game to get discounted. Dont use shady methods to cheat nuuvem and rockstar.

You realise that this same style of getting games cheaper happens just as much if not more with console games, right? Hell here in Australia its welcomed with open arms to import from grey markets because fuck paying $100.

Oh please, dude, get off the high horse. This practice of seeking out the absolutely lowest prices is only pervasive in a fraction of the PC gaming community. The large majority will just go out and pay $60 for the game, just like people who purchase full-priced games on console.
Further, if Rockstar had launched PC alongside PS4 and XBO, or even alongside 360 and PS3, there would have been significantly more hype and people buying in at $60 on PC without looking for a deal. As things stand, we're looking at $60 for a port of a game released a year and a half ago.
The market for PC gaming is perfectly healthy, and in numbers, is growing at a much faster pace than console gaming. Who cares if a small subset of PC gamers hunt for deals to get games at 50% off or more.
Even legit U.S. based website like GreenManGaming were offering the game for $46 for a pre-order. Developers that are on PC embrace the fact that a small subset of PC gamers will, inevitably, either wait for a great deal or search until they find one.
Big deal. Get over it.

What shady methods? A shady method is if I use SQL injection to actually change their prices table before checking out at the price of BRL 0.00.
Nothing shady in taking advantage of a bargain with any method neccessary, because in the end, the distributor will still receive the full amount of the transaction.

Nothing illegal about using Hola to buy the game from Nuuvem. What about people using VPN to access licensed content on Netflix that would usually only be available in other countries? Do you stand morally against that? You're probably going to say you do, but it's irrelevant because doing it is so pervasive that nobody cares. Netflix knows people do it, and even though they recently implemented provisions into their ToS to combat it, they're probably not gonna do shit. As a percentage of total userbase, I am sure only a very, very small percentage of Netflix subscribers have the savvy or give enough fucks to do that.
By the way, nothing illegal about that, either.
If the company (Rockstar) cared, they would just block accounts that try to phone-in to RSC from a non-Brazilian IP. Implementing this kind of check would be trivial.

Tell me what is difference (for Rockstar) between buying game now and waiting it to drop at 30$?
They care about money and in this case they will get same amount and in my opinion it is better to to get it now for 30$ and not to pirate that game. Customers always have right to look for better deal and buying from nuuvem is not shady or illegal because you can always ask somebody from South America to buy it for you.

I joked back that we're not shady (I'm Brazilian), but included an ironic image of what are pretty common Brazilian petty/drug thieves/criminals that live in the slums that are all over most major cities in Brazil. If you ever lived in any of the big Brazilian cities (e.g. Rio, São Paulo), you'll likely see kids dressed like this, donning AKs or other assault rifles, around the slum areas where drug trafficking is commonplace.
Just part of the drug and criminality problems that are present in the slums of Brazil. Which is a pretty shady thing.

. Of course, Brazil as a country/people isn't shady, but the presence of crime, drugs, and a shady slum underworld is not entirely untrue. Also a pretty large and prevalent perception of corruption. Maybe it's the other way around, release the game good and proper on pc along with the console versions and perhaps people won't have a problem paying full price for your game?
