look for a random enemy in the area with glowing eyes. even after I turned off my game, someone has it when I revisit. it's not always the enemy that killed you who took them.

I looked over all over the place, when this happened to me. I think I switched off from ps4 without manually exiting the game via the game's system menu though.

3rd boss down... I'm loving this game so far.

Only two big issues I have with it on a technical level:

- load times are garbage

- losing insight due to network issues (don't take my insight away unless i connect with someone, how hard is that)
Insight loss is really frustrating when no-one joins you. I've used 5 insight recently and not once did anyone join.

Lame.

Also in some areas it will be on the ground somewhere before or after the spot from where you died.I have even had them show up on one of the crows in the brush to the side when it was another enemy some distance away that killed me.

that might fuck it up. I always exit to menu before shutting down.

The best way to beat Amelia is not to grind but to beat her properly with a good tactic. Here's how I did it after a few futile attempts. Notice that she only managed to hit me once: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01ytj__fm9E

I know a couple people also mentioned this, but wow, that was nothing like when I fought her. A lot of videos people have posted are of bosses just staggering around half-drunk barely attacking at all. One of the
Ebreitas
videos I saw consisted only of the boss continuously face-planting over and over without even trying to attack for the duration of the fight.

Not sure if there are certain ways to "trigger" the boss' only-do-one-move glitches. But for me, the
wet nurse
has always been the easiest boss in the game. I accidentally found this method in my first fight against her. I've done it a second time with my second characters. Used exactly the same strategy and her behaviors were the same as the first time, too, just using one combo that always misses me. Now this fight is trivia.

Here is a video I recorded last night.

https://youtu.be/9HPmrB1BDKA

The key is to keep a little distance from her and then start running straight towards her immediate left. She will start a combo which will miss you and allow you to get behind her. Get a few hits in. Back off a little bit after she turns around. Repeat.

I'd appreciate it if someone could try this and tell me if this works for you or not.

Yeah, on boss fights they can sometimes be outside the door when you arrive, inside on the floor somewhere or even an enemy outside the door picked them up. Remember, these enemies have walking patterns so they could have gotten them then walked off for a nice smoke and a song lol

Down (outside) and to the right is some armor It's hanging off the front part of a carriage. LOTS of those bloodecho balls, too. (stuff that gives you blood echos)

Where do you mean specifically? I've wanderered but not come across anything...

YEEEEEEEEEEEES I GOT YOU ! Who's laughing now ? Go back bark at giants spiders. I piss on your dead flaming body, you miserable, cheating, piece of canine monstrosity. Defiled Watchdog, more like Deaded Watchdog now. Hardest boss in the game. By MILES. Felt like the developer didn't want anyone to go past him. need to cool down a bit. Feels like a super sayan right now

Grats, I felt the pain.

I'm stuck on Isz chalice final boss now lol...

I agree. Maybe its well known, but you do get one Insight if you complete a co-op (as in beating a boss) where you are the helper. If you get low on Insight, you can always do some co-op to gain more Insight.

Maybe. There's another one that's close.
Which one?
Celestial Emissary
?

Chikage
- worth the purchase? I'm a Ludwig's user.

Well the problem is you need to put points into bloodtinge to make the Chikage work well(basically the 2h form uses bloodtinge scaling only), which you wouldn't do as a Ludwig user.
Here, 10' boss fight against Cleric Beast in new game +

Took me three rounds.

Lvl 68, that's as much damage I can do. :S

I was level 80 and I still did a pathetic amount of damage to him. He wasn't hard at level 80 despite it though really, I was probably over levelled.

lol , got summoned before Rom fog gate only to see how the summoner and his coop partner get slaughtered by the arcane hunter at the chest. Could not help them anymore and host died.

Thanks for the upload! I will be upon her soon so this will be my tactic! Looks pretty easy, actually.

First meet wit E
brietas and i thought "what is the fuss about" ... she was down to 25 % health without problems (Ludwig's +10, lvl 81 with 33 STR 30 Skill) and then she just one shotted me with lasers o_O

Lol, second try: two hits and i'm dead. Whats happening -_-

Yup, only boss in the game that gave me real trouble. You can't even see the lasers if you're locked on half the time. She would continuously just use that fucking charge and then finish me off before I could get up. M
artyr
and G
ehrman
were jokes compared to her for me.

I was thinking M
icolash
, but that's an easy boss too
(laziest boss in the game honestly)
.

To be fair, he can be a bitch if the AI bug happens and
he just spams that stupid magic attack which is pretty difficult to dodge in such a small room. Especially if he uses it as you're dropping down
.

Seems... bugged? Not doing the clone/mist attack at all. They were pretty mauling.

Ahh, well whatever he is wearing in the video, I need it in my life :p

Looks very cool, I don't think I've come across it yet.

Think the torso piece in that vid is the charred set.

I was thinking
Micolash
but that's even easier lol

Thing doesn't even deserve a health bar.

Ah ok, i see. Yeah,
Micolash
was easy indeed. That boss can also be easily glitched, so that he doesnt attack you in the last phase.

I actually think that
Celestial Emissary
was kinda hard. Well, not directly difficult, but it was fairly easy to get caught up in his
minions and get punched to death.
Not always that easy to find an opening to attack the boss.

I had the exact same experience on my fight with her. I was beyond easy.

I didn't even realize I was fighting a boss until the big health bar popped up. I'm like, what? Little blue guys for the boss? OK. Realized a bit in that one was the main guy and just rolled in, Ludwig 4 swings on him and rolled out. Rinse and repeat. Only boss I killed on my first attempt. I also had 65K in souls from just running through the Upper Ward and I didn't even get that nervous, lol.

EDIT: As for Upper Ward, yeah, FUCK those slurpy sucker guys. Seriously. They make me rage like no no other enemy. Thank GOD they were not the boss fight.

It's been like this the two times I fought her with 2 different characters. It seems that when you are running towards her. Her first priority is to start that combo to stop you and she will forget to do her other moves...

What non-boss enemy terrifies you all the most?

It used to be the soul-eaters for me, but after going into chalices, it's those screaming freaks with double swords. Oh my god.

The final hunter in
Eileen's questline
. Getting 2-shotted by dat pistol man....

If we're talking plain common enemies, then
the prego bug chicks at cainhurst
.

The one with super speed. First time I encountered it I had my back turn and I look down the hallway and I saw it sprinting so fast. It fell down and I laughed in horror.

Those fat naked super speedy rolling dudes in the chalice dungeons.

Slurpy suckers. Those bastards that take your insight. Lawd, I rage so hard as I have to just sit there and watch them leech my shit. Then, when they are done they put their stupid hands up and make a "ha-ha" face at you and if you don't roll away to heal they stun you and go in for more. Seriously, one of only enemies to make me rage quit and I've died quite a bit on Nightmare Frontier

I'd love to get a weapon recommendation. I'm still using the saw cleaver (+9 right now) but I never even found the KirkHammer or the 'little sword in a big sword'. I need something with more power I can still use one handed.

Hmm. Probably the stupid squid dudes, but only cause they steal insight.
