Bloodborne |OT+++| ...and so the Nightly Hunt continues

After BSB it seems i've a plethora of options open to me! i've wandered all over, unlocked gates/shortcuts etc etc, is there a definite path/way i should be going now?

I think the game is absulutley brilliant, but I do feel it could have had more content honestly. I finished it in roughly 30 hours, and i took my sweet time, previous games took me at least twice that time.
Cainhurst is extremly short and only has 1 boss, if that was DLC i would have been pissed off.
 
Where am I geographically in the nightmare area? Some sort of alternate reality/other dimension tied to be lecture building or just physically outside Yharnum?

I just entered mensis...maybe I should just wrap things up and head to the lore thread. I think I'm in the last area anyways, things have been getting rather twisted.

NG+ was always for the hardcore players that want to play the game again with harder enemies. But put additional content in NG+? No thanks, there are players that are happy with the diffculty in NG and dont want to be forced into NG+.

Never, way too short and boring for what we are used to from FROM DLC.

icolash, Host of the Nightmare. On my 1st try...What a pushover boss. When I dropped down into that room when he was at 1/3rd health I expected that shit was going to get real. Instead, he used the same attacks he was using before, with an additional laser attack that you can entirely avoid him casting by just sticking on him. Easiest so far!
 
Yeah, Cainhurst wasn't nearly big enough for DLC. Cool little side area for the main game, but it's probably 1/4, maybe 1/3 of the size of the Sunken Crown DLC for DaS2 (not sure about the other two DLC's as I only finished the first).
 
Well, regardless whether I finish bloodborne or not, I can say that is the first "souls" game where I learned how to actually play it. And I'm purely speaking of the mindset. I die and I don't give a f**k anymore. Previous souls game I got frustrated and ragequitted.

And also, this one seems much easier than DS1 and Demon's souls. I beat
father gascoigne in my 3rd attemp which is something I expected to take 9 or 10 attempts

I beat the W
et nurse
on my first try last night, but I was sloppy and used almost all my blood vials. The ending was pretty funny. I saved 10 bullets so I could finish her off from range with the cannon, but that got her down to 1% health, and then she did the
duplication in the dark move again.
So I got really nervous I was gonna blow it right at the end, even though it's pretty easy to avoid all those attacks by rolling.

To get to her and unlock the shortcut I ran past those
spider pigs and they actually killed the Shadow of Yarnham guys and got me a bunch of free Echoes.
 
Problem with
Eleein's quest
. Any idea why she is not showing up here at Cathedral Ward ?

It's night, the shortcuts are opened, I've talked to her before in Yharnam am, so I wonder what's wrong. It's my new game plus by the way (I didn't even found her in my first run).

I just beat the Witch of Hemwick last night. I got the workshop rune tool and have about 48,000 blood echoes to use next time I play. Do the runes make the game any easier from here on out? Lol

I thought you needed to unlock the shortcut at the shield where you find the wooden shield. At least that was the case for me. After doing that she showed up.

What bosses have you beaten. I believe she only shows up there after
BSB or Amelia
. I could be wrong though. That's just how I completed her questline.

Alright, yo, this strategy is godlike. Manage to finally tame this damned dog, with like a couple tries, haha.

But now I got pass that wall and I'm soon hit with another one shortly after, maaan. This game.

130 lvl, Watchdog of the Old Lords (Defiled Chalice version) , 57 deaths . Had enough. Please someone respond :( :( :(
 
Yup I've beaten the bosses and opened the shortcut but actually I was just listening to a epicnamebro video while playing and he says that a lot of people have a bug with Eileen not showing up anyway :[
 
The fight with Rom is annoying me. I keep getting caught and staggered by the spiders and then I die. I've even tried co-op with no success :(

Same here (still haven't beat the boss!). It's interesting that once you master it and have leveled beyond it, these sections are shorter. Central Yharnam took me hours at first. Now I get through it all for fun in under 10mins.

So if we were to get DLC like this, hopefully it's not costly for the team but will take time to master, giving us value.
 
Started another character last night and actually beat Cleric and Father Gascoigne in my first run! Didn't die until I relaxed against those damn 2 dogs that run down the stairs in the Ward area.

Damn things tore a hole in my ass
 
I am doing the story chalice dungeons at the moment and the
Abhorrent Beast
in the
Ailing Loren
chalice dungeon (level 3) is just brutal, at least for me!

I am fighting the thing for like 1 hour (perceived time) bring it down to 30% and then I die. It is way to relentless when it goes into berserk mode, it deals incredibly high amounts of damage and has a lot of health. I fell like a test subject fighting against the ultimative beast. And this isn't even the hardest chalice dungeon, I am getting a bit nervous...

The thing to do is lock on and stay out in front of him. Whenever he does a head swing dodge in for 1 hit on his head and dodge out again. If he does that puking attack get to the side for a power attack and then away again. Just take your time. Don't get greedy ever.

Just stay on his ass and dodge spiders if you see them preparing for an attack. Don't get too far since Rom's arcane? attacks are brutal.

Doesn't work. After I crash his head and deal the good damage, he acuquires 3 new attacks, a double swing combo and fire fire fire. I can take him to below 50% easily, then I cannot hit him at all.

Please anyone just help. Im dying here.
 
Question for Souls Vets, I'm on my third playthrough and I'm fighting less enemies picking up less items, etc. If I beat the game again and move into NG+++ will it be that much more difficult? I keep thinking difficulty ie. enemy dmg and health have to plateau at some point just as my ability to gain attributes and weapon dmg has plateaued.

It worked for me at around level 90 when I did him this morning. What weapon are you using? I had the greatsword. If you don't have the range to hit easily maybe try jumping attacks when he is open.

I'd help, but I'm level 164 so we can't play unless you level up to 140.

Ludwig at 10 dealing around 500 dmg a hit to him.

His phase 2 attacks are just destroying me, no idea what to do. 2 hours spent and i cannot continue forever. Please anybody who is a master guardian respond :( :(
