My suspicions were right and I thought I was near the end game(don't know if there is any going back) so I finally decided to look at a strategy guide and see what all I missed(because I am not the type that will play the game 3 and 4 times trying to find everything) and man I apparently missed a not insignificant number of optional areas.

Im both bummed that the end is approaching and happy that there is a decent amount of stuff I can still explore - not including chalice dungeons - before the end game.

Still, bittersweet stuff.

for me but for the Defiled boss I stayed locked on the whole time, wasn't an issue. You want to maintain the lock so you can keep easier track of your position relative to the boss, everything is easily sidestepped from there.

Dude she is giving me issues as well! I am wondering if I am underleveled. Only at 66 right now and her lasers are wrecking me.

After 3 tries I finally beat her. Bought a few blood vials and some fire paper and went full berserk on her ass (literally) I stayed behind her and when she started to scream I moved to the front and spammed the charge attacks. Used the last 16 blood vials I had and she left me with 65 health out of 1100.

My ass was clenching through the last half of the match lol

The one reborn was a joke. One shot his ass, going upstairs and plunge attacking with a +8 LHB does Massive Damage.

Almost expected a 2nd form he was so easy.

One thing I do love about this game is how deep the weapons are. I battled the

So I switched to the one handed version of Ludvigs and beat him on my second try using that method.

, don't fight her head on. It's tempting to fight her that way to get a visceral attack but not worth the risk. Those lasers do a ton of damage and her charge attack is bullshit. Instead get behind her but not directly behind. There's this spot that I found where she wasn't trying to turn around as much. Halfway between her side and back area. Once I went with this tactic. I took her down right away.

I just ignored them. If you run around the boss, attack 2-3 times, then run around again, nothing should hit you.
