HOLSHITBALLS EP3 ending.......... gaf ........ i don't even......

I really should be going to bed, but fuck it. one more. ;P

So, it's not really a long movie. It's feels like an episodic procedural. There are no real cliffhangers yet. So far, every episode feels finished by the time the credits roll.

i wouldn't call it a procedural (thank god) but i haven't seen past ep 2 yet.

dunno what that one reviewer was talking about calling it a long movie though. this could easily work weekly.

We're supposed to spoil all discussion right?

Episode 3 -
Pretty solid episode and nice glimpse of the kingpin at the end there. But man oh man does this show keeps on anting up the gore. Such a brutal death at the end there.

I just don't like television shows that aren't comedies or on HBO. I always seem to be a hard sell on these types of shows. I totally dug the first ep of this. Moving on to the second.

I'm mind blown beyond belief. It really does feel like a movie and the cinematography is way beyond any other superhero show.

I really love how every single character is portrayed so far. Even Foggy which the shows need in this gritty neighborhood.

Now I'm just contemplating if I should watch one episode a day or just binge it.

I'm glad to know it's good.

How is it compared to Agents of SHIELD and Peggy Carter?
To me, it's 10 times better than Agent Carter and Agents of Shield is one ofmy absolute favorite TV shows right now, but Daredevil even have that beat so far. But mind you, I have only seen one episode.

Especially the cinematography and sound design is taking this show to another level.

Almost to different to compare in my opinion.
The show wants to achieve a different tone and different kind of story.
Anyway production values are top notch, and it looks better
But of course it doesn't need a CGI airplane in every episode.

Is there some "hidden" CGI in the backgroudn, like virtual buildings or backgrounds?

Just noticed this still says it's an ABC Studios production.

Doubt there'd be a show this violent on ABC but kind of crazy to think they are still in the loop. I thought this was all Marvel and Netflix.

So I'm new to these Netflix series (we only just got it here in New Zealand).

Is it true they release all the episodes at the same time?

Stuck at work with a good 7 hours before I can be at home watching these, but holy crap you guys are making the wait harder. I could not read the thread, I guess, but that'd be less fun. Glad you like it!

Usually, yeah. I think Better Call Saul was the only exception outside of the US so far (it wasn't a Netflix show there)

Not that surprising, Marvel and ABC are both owned by Disney.

Outside the US there's also The Returned, which gets another episode every week. Later this year it seems the same will be true for S2 of Penny Dreadful for certain regions.
All three are not real Netflix shows though.

From the moment dude left the taxi garage I knew that was his ass. Kingpin is insane.

PUT KINGPIN IN A MOVIE NOW

ep 4

at first I didn't think the Kingping was huge enough physically, but after watching him fight damn this guy has him nailed. Wonderfully crazy

Still? it will always say that, because they make the show.
The sreis was never intended for the ABC network, if that is what you are thinking/

Define "real Netflix show"
