I really hate asking questions like this but do you guys think a $1000 PC build could pull 1080/60 out of this on high? I've been beating around this PC bush for too damn long.

Don't worry, it's not blood. It's doodoo.

This is what I am getting at in these forums. Thanks for the feedback by the way, but why say the battle system is not the same. We need to regard the fact that both are 3rd person RPGs. In your opinion, which combat felt better? I just think TW combat is more visceral. There is an odd hit detection on the From games that I've seen in playthroughs. Maybe it's just me.
I remember Valve releasing a first-person RPG (forgot the name), and I felt the combat was a lot more fun than that on Skyrim.
Maybe even ultra. 970 should be able to handle that.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt |OT| Is it 1358 yet?
Same here. 'Ultra' meaning the highest quality settings which include proprietary technologies.
http://physxinfo.com/news/12197/introducing-nvidia-hairworks-fur-and-hair-simulation-solution/In comparison to other GPU accelerated physics features, Dynamic Fur was implemented through DirectCompute, which opens it for AMD users as well.

All right. Never played the previous games so had no idea timed conversations was a thing in the series. Still bums me the f*** out.
I am very interested in this game, but this is hyperbole out of control. Bloodborne has 93 metaacore and while this game will be good that will be tough to beat.
On combat...you must be joking. That is my main concern with this game. I will play The Witcher 3 for the story and exploration. If the combat doesn't drag down the stronger parts of the game I will consider that good enough. There is no way the average encounters in this game will compete with Souls combat.
Yes, GTX 970.Just to clarify... '970' is a video card. Not $970, right?
I hope that is not what i think it is..
I think he means period blood

Yes, GTX 970.
Yeah, period blood from a typical menses interval isn't nearly copius enough for the amounts those two ladies are putting away.
So ?
Hairworks is not Nvidia exclusive :

We all know that Poland is one of the most racially diverse areas ever. So games where the location is based on Poland should have tons upon tons of ethnic diversity.I'm failing to see the contradiction ... ?
It was Arkane and the game was Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. It was great.
I think comparing Bloodborne and Witcher is completely missing the point. They are focusing on completely different things and both are fantastic.
lmao
"Is it 1358 yet?"
"No."
"Then fuck off."
hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Maybe they have been collecting it for a few cycles, waiting for the right night to.... do whatever they are doing.Yeah, period blood from a typical menses interval isn't nearly copius enough for the amounts those two ladies are putting away.

Dwarves, elves, undead all in there. Not a single black character shown. So? I just find that bothering.
Edit: Since you edited your post, I'm not outraged. I just find it distasteful that doesn't mean I won't buy the game.

So as someone who's never paid any attention to the series, I'm actually considering picking this up, mainly due to it resemblance to Elder Scrolls games in that there's emphasis is exploration and narrative. That said, is it worth it to play either of the previous 2 in the meantime? I've seen videos of the earlier games, but the janky, boring-looking combat of the first turned me off. Do they play better than they look?
*grabs popcorn*
Two Girls, One Sacrifice
Perhaps I should've used /s. Because that was sarcasm. Not to mention that we don't even know if black people will be in the game. Kinda like the pre-order 1886 controversy.what
the
fuck
Bruuhh!I can't tell if that post is serious or not. I think Crossing Eden is crazy enough to be serious.

Good luck finding black people in the world loosely based on Slavic countries/mythology.
Not gonna compare the Souls games, but i personally(personally), felt that BB's gameplay was much superior to W2's. In Witcher its serviceable as a western action RPG where you are attacking and doing magic, but its not so nuanced where your timing your dodges with precision and your counters and riposts with the gun as in BB.
BB is much more combat oriented as an action RPG(infact that's a majority of all you do), where Witcher is more general purpose, with more of an emphasis on exploration and other things, so it makes sense BB would be better at that.
Just from having played W2 though, its obvious that the Witcher series and From's action RPG's are both amazing, just in different ways.
