This is true, but it's not fun in any way whatsoever.
I'd suggest ignoring root chalices till you've made your way to the bottom (depth 5). Unless you enjoy the dungeons that much you've already got enough on your plate. Also no need to remove dungeons till you've used up all the slots. At that point just delete the earliest ones you put up.
No luck. I just reloaded in front of the stairs but she isnt showing up

No, no it's not. Theres like 5 bosses I haven't one shot in this whole game, it's just because eventually if you want to heal, you'll run out. There's a drought of vials in like 75% of the game. The fact that I have to go and farm them if I want to have a fail safe is lame as hell. It's a consequence for wasting blood vials on a boss.
That means you're too far awaythere's a sweet spot.
Also, notice that he's headless, if you're far enough away, and not moving he will just stand there. That's why it's so important to sprint and then dash twice through the legs to get behind him. It takes some finesse, for sure, but it's a very abusable pattern. If he does the charge just quick dodge as much as you can to the left.
I just waited till he couldn't hear me, creeped in and started sprinting, once he hears you you'll be close enough for that attack you can dodge through his legs.
Yeah, it's easy to adjust, as I said, I'm not having any trouble. I just have a hard time seeing how this can be a better system. I say nonsense because it really makes no sense to change it to a system that is the same in the bast case scenario, and a lot more frustrating in the worst one.
If Blood Vials were replenished for free when you die, it wouldn't change shit to me, I never come back with less than 20, it would only help people having trouble, it wouldn't make it easier for me or anything.
I also don't get why you can't change checkpoints by just interacting with the lamp instead of having to warp back to the dream and warp back to that lamp. It makes no difference other than having to load the game two more times when you die, if you want to respawn at a different lamp.
It's minor stuff, but it's also interesting to discuss that.
Trying get a gem that deals more blunt damage. I think the r2 attack is blunt.
I have never found this game easier when I had a full stock of vials and 99 in the bank. The moment-to-moment challenges are still very rewarding. I hate to sound harsh and like one of those "git gud" asshats, but for me the people being frustrated with it early in the game reminds me of the people that were frustrated when they went to the graveyard early in Dark Souls. It's a matter of adjustment and trying to play a different way than you're assuming you need to.

Why are people struggling to farm blood vials? You can go through Central Yharnam and should be able to get 20 vials in 5 minutes if you take the shortcut route to the Cleric Beast's lamp.
It's even quicker if you are late game as you one shot everything except for the Werewolves.
Yeah, the lamps can feel inconvenient at times. I guess they wanted to stick with the theme of The Dream being home base like the Nexus was. I can understand them wanting to keep that consistent. Thankfully loading the Dream is pretty fast.
I'm aware he's headless I'm also aware that wound is a weak spot. The first phase is super easy because the spit is so easily abused.
I can't find the sweet spot you're talking about though. Too far away he does the charge attack, medium distance he does many different kinds(not just the two hit one) of swipes and uses his snake head.
I can't even tell when he can't hear me really, he always seems to know where I am, even if I'm the other side of the room.

Every once in a while I'll spend souls on blood vials, but I'd rather level up more.So instead of farming use a few of your successful "one shotting" runs and spend all of it on blood vials so you dont have to worry about it.
haha, good luck with that. trying to summon in the Chalice is even harder than main game.
This, you suffer like 2 minutes of load screens to go to central yharnam from your current progress area, it's lame.Farming the blood vials wouldn't be so annoying if you could warp to any area from any lamp. HAving to go back to the dream twice is dumb. I hope they think to patch that soon
You know his arm slam he does? Where he lands on his elbow? Try baiting that, that's the one where you run through and dodge past it.
I'm probably not explaining it very well, I'm sorry :/

Yup, it's the "shit just got real" location.Sois pretty tough...Yahar'gul
You should never be under him for more than two or 3 quick 1 hand attacks. Just sprint out of there ASAP. Basically I don't bait it as much as it just happens. I get away from him, then just sprint my ass towards him, he will then do that arm slam, that's when I jump or dodge through, get two swipes on his hind leg, run away and repeat. It's no problem the help is appreciated eitherway!
How do you consistently bait it though? When I'm under him he sometimes does that, or he does the foot stomp + jump back.
Ah well. I'll try it again in a bit. I ran out of vials so need to get more.
The argument isn't that it takes a super long time, it's that it is unnecessary and adds nothing of value to the game. The fact that it is so easy, just slightly tedious, speaks to my point. Switch to a automatic replenishment system and the only thing that changes in the game is no longer having to farm or waste time buying vials. You aren't losing anything of value.Yep, that's exactly where I go for some quick vials. You have three lumbering big guys that usually give 2 each, the two wolves that give 3 each plus any misc from standard mobs. Best spot imo and doesn't take long at all.
edit: and using any extra blood echoes for topping off my supply.

You have to be in the exact same dungeon, which means you need to share the dungeon and work your way through the layers.Really, one more? Just summon someone!
You do not necessary need to beat the very last lower ailing loran dungeon to get the trophy... you just need the ritual blood (5) out of there or out of the isz chalice dungeon (5), afiak.
Yeah....the girl in the window ask me if I found
But no luckher sister, she wear a White RibbonShe isnt there no matter what
How much does Arcane affect drop rate? I've never put a point into it, maybe that explains why enemies don't drop vials very often...
When I need vials I just run through Forbidden Woods for a little while. It's easy to get 30k souls or so and you can buy 40 or so vials with that.
He also needs 2x red jelly from either loran or isz. If it's ABbhorrenthe's having trouble with he can cheese him with poison knives. One knife is enough to induce hp drain.east

Can't you people just buy blood vials?
No, you're supposed to run past every enemy after unlocking the shortcut and then complain about needing to farm when you're out of vials. From my understanding that's how BB is played.
Sure, I'm just talking specifically about how often you get stuff like vials to drop.If you put a point into Arcane, you can see how much the stat goes up before confirming. You can do this with all stats.
It's a valid strategy in the other Souls games so why are you surprised that people are doing it with BB? The estus flask already solved this problem. No, you're supposed to run past every enemy after unlocking the shortcut and then complain about needing to farm when you're out of vials. From my understanding that's how BB is played.
Why doesn't they just respawn you at the boss? It's not fun to have to run back to fight him!

I don't think it effects blood vials, but gems and runes instead. Blood vials are a constant drop from many enemies like the brick dude and so on.Sure, I'm just talking specifically about how often you get stuff like vials to drop.
