Protip: lanterns aren't always safe in chalice dungeons.

I died to a chalice boss. He had 120k of my souls. I put my controller down to go to the bathroom during the load screen. Came back as a red spider was killing me. Souls gone.

Freaking hate those things man. Especially in deeper dungeons where two maidens spawn and call a crap ton of spiders. I wouldn't care if they didn't hit hard and have an annoying move set.

Thank you. I will put the game aside for now. I really appreciate the atmosphere and interconnectedness of the world, but for some reason it is not clocking for me like dark souls 1. Then again, I paused playing demons souls for a year, came back to it, and loved it.

You know what's messed up? It's probably faster to ng+++++ your way to chunks than farm those blue eyed werewolves. It takes about an hour to make it to unseen village/mensis and you can get around 30 chunks in the late game areas. Alternately, you can farm the wolves for an hour and get 3 chunks.

Damn, I guessed I fucked it up. I'll stop leveling strength and skill. And vitality. And probably endurance too. I think I'll just spend my echoes on materials for Chalice rituals. Is there any way to respec, so I can lower some of my atributes?

None i know of. Doing second playthrough now so i can better enjoy the game.

Kin are those human NPC hunters you fight (I might be wrong about this one)

Beasts = any boss that has "Beast" in their name

I think wolves may be considered beasts as well

I'm using mostly Tonitus plus Ludwig's Holy Spear (both +6) but going to try Thread Cane + 6.

Unsure what to concentrate on, to get skill up a bit as I like fast weapons.
A bit in Bloodtinge so I can try Ludwig's rifle?
Keep going with arcade past the soft cap?

Are Ludwig's Rifle and Repeating Pistol much better than the hunting pistol?

Use hit and run tactics. And when he fires those things, do a 90 degree turn to him and run. So run perpendicular to him and then once projectiles start coming for you, do 90 degree turn to him, and you will barely ever get hit.

I'd consider it a spoiler for me personally, but i also think its ridiculous to expect everyone else to care so much and hence avoided threads until i'd finish 100% of the content.

Yes, you reached the point of no return so go grind becuase lower weapons in NG+ dont do good damage at all.
