battle and then BAM! elevator bug. I'm so sad right now, really close to platinum. So wait for patch or redo everything... this is really killing my motivation.
Man, what the fuck is up with blood echoes vanishing and attaching themselves to enemies miles from where you die. Rage quit for the first time after having no luck clearing almost the entirety of the Nightmare Frontier before stupidly dying to one of the frenzy pricks.
Fourth time it's happened now. Previously I managed to find them in an enemy on a floor above or below where I died, but I think this time they teleported from the giant swamp all the way down to the area before Amygdala. Fucking ridiculous.
Between that and the new blood stain being indistinguishable from the environment at times i'm really hating the new system.
Man, looking at the walkthroughs online are showing me I missed a lot of stuff on this first run. Here's a list of things I didn't even know could be done:
to get the clinic shortcut so I can get the last piece of umbilical cord. Then I'm going to try and get to C
ainhurst
C
astle.
I know for a fact I'm at the end of the game, but I'm trying to do as much as I can since NG is gonna suck. For the people who got Platnums, what should I be focusing on in this initial run endgame?
Grab some Chalice dungeon material you'll need so you won't have to get them in NG+:
red jelly and living string
For buying weapons and stuff I suggest just waiting till NG+ because you get so many echoes it's trivial to buy things. It's also easier to level up for the later Chalice dungeons, although the later dungeons drop a lot of echoes too. Chalice dungeons stay exactly as you left them when you go into NG+. They have separate difficulties.
Beat Martyr Logarius on my second attempt (after doing no damage the first time, killed by magic). That was probably my favorite boss I've fought so far. Incredibly intense, my hands were shaking after the win!

I've beaten the game and killed all bosses and consumed the 3 umbilical cords for that ending. Just began My ng+ and during my first playthrough i never summoned NPC help on bosses. Can somebody tell me or explain how that is done
Fuck snakes. Fuck em all. I keep getting lost and some how looping back around. By that point I basically have a level worth of echoes... but still. Annoying!
I would not say endgame but the world will change after killing him. Before you fight him you can go clean up on some NPC stuff you may have missed. Plus Michlosh you will fight in Nightmare of mensis he is in that later part of story. Also killing ROM you will still be able to go to the Goal and kill darkbeast paarl

Hmm, are people beating it that low? I've seen others saying between 70 - 90. I myself am 123 and have yet to beat the game. But I'm doing everything, including the chalice dungeons.
Yea, I take my time and search every corner. I'm just terrible when it comes to these boss fights. I've gotten him down to one hit and ran out of endurance. Then I got bopped trying to take one last swing.
I would think you could take him at that level. I believe Iwas around 55 when I killed him. It really depends how youve built your character so far. Just kill him and see the changes and enjoy

LOL yes that happens to alot of people myself included especially when you see that boss down to a sliver of HP and you get greedy for that one last hit. I always try to back out and stick to my gameplan that got him to that low and go back in for that last open hit
So I made the mistake of saving Darkbeast Paarl for after Rom. Now I'm having trouble with those 3 hunters in Hypogean Gaol. I'm looking in the right place, correct? Any tips on fighting those 3? If anyone around level 63 wants to help me out in-game, I'd appreciate it!

Just beat it. Was level 88 I think. Loved almost every minute but disappointed in how easy all the bosses felt.
At least Gehrman took me a few tries. Moon Presence was first try though
. Just killed NG+ Cleric on first try as well. Now need to try some of the chalice dungeons and get the Playinum trophy. Demon's Souls is in my future also!

I beat the game at Level 130 after doing Chalice dungeons.
Man, when you can connect PvP is such a blast. I never had so much fun invading and trolling the fuck out of people. I almost died from laughter. I can't wait for the fixes for cthe connection issues.

They are really annoying since they can stunlock you. Try luring them out one by one. Depth 5 gets crazy with the number of dogs and other enemies in the same room.
