I don't know if there is anything else you can do to her.

when does the elevator open? Do you need to beat BSB for that? If nto , then you can get the gates open without the emblem. I didnt get the key on my current playthrough, but I di kill BSB rigth away so not sure if that was the trigger for the elevator.

I actually killed him already at LVL 4.

I got him to draw his sword and ran away like a little bitch, he just ended up slowly draining his hp until he died hah!

Killing BSB (magically) opens
the locked door in Cathedral Ward
, which, like you did, gets you around the gate. Otherwise, yes, you'd have to kill CB.

I killed the hunter with
Eileen
, but she's not appearing near the grand cathedral. I want to fight this hunter! What's the requirements for her to spawn? Already beat....

The boss after the
Shadows of Yahrnam
is the one you need to beat.

giant spider
on the ceiling.....

Will it kill me?
What am i supposed to do now? I dont want to move forward incase it kills me!

arnham: when there is only one guy left you want to face tank him/her/it as they don't cast that snake spell if you are close range.

General boss strategy: Whenever you fight a boss encounter with multiple foes, always focus on one at a time. Kill the first one, only then attack the next, etc. until there is only one left.


This is a good strat for the vast majority of multi-foe bosses across Bloodborne and the Souls games.

The only reason I don't want to keep retrying that is because of the limited blood vials and also the final boss is still left to kill

does giving blood dregs to the queen give me anything?
 
Found a very easy way to take down Blood-Starved Beast, at least most of his life.

Simply, run around him, don't dash to the sides or anything, just run around him.

:P

Not a fan of respawning enemies at all.. Is there a way to 'permanently' kill them, cause I feel this area is going to be a drag. Love the
red moon + giant spider on the buildings
though
 
Loran Darkbeast down

First time I tried it I was using Ludwig and got completely obliterated. Missed so many freaking times, beyond infuriating. Swapped over to the
scythe
and it was a whole nother deal. The coverage of the trick mode swings made it so that I was getting hits I couldn't have hoped to get before. Blew through a huge chunk of my vials early on but luckily it crumpled twice near the end I when was down to my last couple. Surprised to say it but it only took those 2 attempts.

The framerate is legitimately disgusting at times.

I got an emote so far. Only gave her 4 though. Btw, can I say I love that they finally made it possible to offer multiple items at once?

well I remember prior to beating
rom
that the door ahead was closed, and if you went near it you would get killed, but now that you could see the giant spider, I figured it would be easier to die.

I had 50+ blood echoes and didnt want to lose them :)

I already moved on and into
unseen village

If you won't miss the echoes, you can run right through that area to the Boss. I guess you could say that about any area though, hahahaha. It might take you a bit to find where the boss is, but you don't have to fight anyone. That area pretty much sucks,


Unrelated note: NG+ down! I beat the last 10 bosses solo, which is a feat for me because I probably summoned for half of them during my first play. 40 hrs. Level 148. Still want more.

This game.

It really is. It's a shame it requires a lot of time to really enjoy though. That's not a problem, it's just my gaming time is so limited that I had to forego watching Daredevil last night to play this.

Being a short burst game wouldn't really suit the type of gameplay they are going for anyway.

Yeah, this is my main fear going forward with the Souls series. If they don't incorporate a lot of the fantastic improvements found here, it's going to be tough to get into again.

This pushes the genre/series forward significantly and it's possible Souls risks getting left behind if they don't make some serious changes.

At the cathedral ward lamp exit through the door in front of you she will be to the left.

her kill Henryk and you failed the quest ..like me :(

I killed him with the long form of my +6
hunters axe
. Its possible to find a sweet spot in front of him where he wont shoot you and you're still close enough to swing and hit him with the
hunters axe
. Only swing once - dont give him any openings.
I killed him first attempt after switching to this method. Before that tried and failed miserably about 8 times with parry +
kirkhammer.
 
I'm not so sure what I want to do now. Continue with the linear path to "completion" story wise, or just enter
Cainhurst Castle and see what I can do/find there

i think it's possible(edit: very likely) you missed her but she will show up later at the cathedral. That said at this point she would normally be at the father Gascogne area, but you can't take the lamp, you'll need to walk back from another lamp. In this area there should now be another hunter and Eileen will join the fight. If she's not there you can go back to yharnam or to the left of the cathedral ward lamp to see if she spawns in her original locations, but I think you have to find her there earlier than vicar Amelia. If she's not in either place, come back to the outside of the Vicar fight after you complete the byrgenwerth/ moonside lake area and boss. She'll be there to fight you and you can get the crow hunter badge but not the hunter rune.

There are only two story bosses after
Micolash (or more depending on umbilical cords)
so you should definitely visit Cainhurst. Also, check trophies for other optional bosses.
