Cage!

Very cool.

(I could see Luke Cage wearing a helmet to set a good example for kids. And insisting Jessica wear one too.)

So does Jones only have one set of clothes?

Do you want her to wear different clothes each scene, so people can fill the IMDB "goofs" section with continuity errors about her changing clothes even though only 5 minutes elapsed in the actual show.

"Jessica Jones outfit changed three times, once when she left her apartment building, once when she got on the bike and again when she got off the bike"

But she IS wearing different clothes, shoes, etc, in the above shots. Just the same color jacket and jeans. But everyone wears those colors these days.

Tell me, who in this conversation got worked up over the lack of Luke Cage's yellow t-shirt J10?

She looks so sad though.

I really wonder if any of the costumes for these Netflix shows will be true to the source material. First Daredevil's final suit and now Cage without the yellow tshirt. Iron Fist probably won't wear the yellow/green suit either.

It's a process.
Daredevil's suit at the end of the season is still a proto-suit, a Mark I if you will.

I'm sure we'll get hints at it, or a variation of it by the end of the season.

Why would he wear the same yellow shirt every single day?

Cages yellow shirt is gone for over a decade. I doubt we see it beside a easter egg.
Edit:

Do you mean this:

Give em a break, took em a while to get Cap's modern suit right.

Do you really think they're afraid to put him in a yellow t-shirt?

Oh really? Is this official? Wow I didn't know that. Makes me happy. :)

I asked myself that question but again, I'm thinking "comic book TV show!".

Oh. I don't follow his comics. The yellow shirt is just so iconic to me. I mean this one:

No. I never implied they were afraid.

It's hilarious someone would get this worked up over a t-shirt. It doesn't even register as a costume.

just a reminder that wearing the same clothes all the time is a bit jarring

costumes, sure, the same yellow t-shirt, nah

This is the statement of someone who has never worked with engineers.

Seriously, I look around the office and we could all be comic book characters with the consistency of colour in our clothing.

She doesn't put much thought into her appearance.

I'm not complaining! It's a good look. But since the first set pic she's worn the same stuff. Those boots are pretty sweet though.

I honestly can't wait for this show. Daredevil is somewhere on my to-watch list but that can wait... looking at set pics for this show I'm just like PUMP IT INTO MY VEINS

Anybody discussed the possibility that the Cage/Jones bits are flashback, and the Purple Man stuff is present timeline? (I haven't been following this stuff, I'm afraid.)

I never thought I'd say/write this, but she might be too pretty for the part of a gritty, street-level hero. I know, how stupid, but damn if she doesn't look like an angel or something. Optimistic though. She turned in some great work in '23 and Breaking Bad.

I hope all of Netflix's Marvel shows cross over somehow. That will be glorious.

That was the plan from the beginning. They'll all crossover in the defender's.

I take it no Ant-Man in this?

Definitely no Ant-Man in this.

He'll be in his own movie coming this July.

Yes I know that :P

I just finished reading Alias and Scott Lang was pretty prominent. Figured there might be a cameo, connected universe and all that.

No Carol either.

Oh, good point. She's not even cast.

Ant-Man is in everything. You just don't see him. He was there when Hulk whooped Loki's ass and he was there when Pepper changed Tony's arc reactor and he was there when Frigga died.

LOL

We know Daredevil started filming in July 2014 and was released on April 2015. That's 9 months.

AKA Jessica Jones started filming in February 2015. That's 7 months after filming on Daredevil started.

So, taking those timelines, maybe we'll see the next shows around these dates:

Daredevil - April 2015 (filmed July 2014)
AKA Jessica Jones - November 2015 (filmed February 2015)
Luke Cage - June 2016 (filmed September 2015)
Iron Fist - January 2017 (filmed April 2016)
The Defenders - August 2017 (filmed November 2016)

I'll be very sad if we don't get another Daredevil season until 2017 or 2018.

Question for JJ fans. I don't read a lot of comics, but I'm curious. What do we currently speculate the plot of this show will be? Like, with Fisk cast, we had a pretty good idea of what Daredevil was going to be about early on. I know Jessica Jones is a superpowered detective, and Purple Man has some crazy mind control powers or something. What exactly do we think the show is going to be about, though?

I though Ritter was taller than that, either that or the guy is a giant

He's 6'3".

It's about her trying to pick herself up. She's a miserable drunken bum and a failed Avenger when you first meet her in Alias but by the end she's starting to get better. Confronting the Purple Man is a big part of the process.

I see. So we expect it to be less about "fighting a big bad guy" and more about her own personal struggles and shit? Sounds interesting.

Her first case is finding a missing woman.

I always thought this'd be a really cool idea for Ant-Man trailers. Show him peppered throughout the MCU. Disney did a similar thing with Lilo & Stich. Random example, but it was hilarious.
