Bloodborne |OT+++| ...and so the Nightly Hunt continues

So I finished my first playthrough and only have some chalice dungeons left. I exploited the dog glitch in Iosefka's clinic to boost to level 160 from 100 in like 30 minutes to ease the trophy hunt, but it really isn't that much help to have 50 endurance and vitality versus the regular levels before. I'm debating continuing that glitch to get all stats to 50 and be able to spec whatever I want before running with a fresh character. Love the blades of mercy in addition to my maxed greatsword.

Such a good game.

Got myself a nice +27% Gem! But does -9 HP per sec... Might be fine in the game itself, but in this half HP depth 5 chalice (hunting for big gems), not such a good idea.

I found several illusory walls in the chalic dungeons. It's a good idea to swipe the walls if you feel there should be a door somewhere. It is usually obvious because you hit a room that seems to be a dead end. Oftentimes the area you find is full of treasure.

Yeah the chalice illusory walls are quite common, the interesting part was that the guy mentioned finding one during the main game. Was hoping someone may have encountered it.

Man I'm having a really hard time with my second character on NG+. I'm dealing so little damage with her. I feel like all those points I put on Arcane are wasted because it's disappointing as hell. The Shadow of Yharnam is just destroying me. I even died against the witch because it was taking too long.

By all accounts yes. There is no 'pure Bladestone' issues nor any World Tendency to manipulate.

Don't think it was me you were replying to, but for the record Bloodborne in my opinion is a LOT harder a platinum than Demon's.

There's nothing in that game as difficult as the bosses in the Defiled Chalice dungeon, grinding bladestones and manipulating world tendency was time consuming but ultimately just a matter of perseverence.

Closing in on my plat now, but I really feel like this game has stretched me far more than any game in the franchise thanks to its narrower focus on melee combat.

I feel like Demon's is by far the hardest souls game and also has the most difficult and time consuming platinum.

Bloodborne's is easy by comparison. Defiled chalice is really the only major challenge.

Did you kill him? Sorry, I got cocky and thought I wasn't close enough for his transforming AOE. And the last summon, it says we were adversary and game went me back once you wanted boss area. No clue why. I didn't change my setup from our first attempt. Was in Hunter convenant. Do you still need help?

Really? I think Bloodborne is far, far harder than Demon's. I think Demon's is the easiest of them all.

I feel Demon's Souls is the easiest Souls game (Or second easiest after the first Dark Souls). The structure of the game makes it hard to get stuck at a specific part, the bosses are mostly based on figuring out gimmicks, and the grass system is absurd. Plus, there's Second Chance.

But it certainly is a bitch to Platinum. Stupid Pure Bladestone.

Demon's is the easiest to platinum thanks to not having the covenant system. It's actually the only one I've platinum.

Fuck...killed my fun with the game...got really stuck in that I had literally explored every area and fought/beat every boss I could... and then suddenly my character knows the forbidden forest password....shit...now Im insanely over leveled (upper 40s) and its kinda a cake walk

Having a little bit of trouble with headless bloodletting beast. If any one wants to join me or give advice I'd like that. Level 134. Psn: Subtervotion

Edit: never mind. Just tried a different tactic and beat him in one try.

I feel the opposite. Only one of the chalice dungeon bosses is difficult at all imo (
Dog in Defiled
, and even he's not too bad if you wear fire resist. Everything else is pretty easy. Got it no problem in about 60 hours, and I wasn't even trying for it until about the 50 hour mark. Every other souls game has had a really obnoxious trophy. Like, didn't Demons' have one that required you to get every ring in the game?

Man I've always felt Demon's is hardest. I breezed through Dark, Dark 2, and Bloodborne with no co-op or anything.

Even going back to Demon's I struggle unless I use magic or exploits. Maybe it's cause Demon's was my first souls game.

Demon's is the hardest platinum because it relied on luck. I farmed those black phantom skeletons for hours and never got the bladestone drop.

And you still needed to finish the game at least 4 times (for the bosses souls), had to get character tendency to pure black and pure white (for the rings trophy)....

That game has a long road to the platinum

Not talking strictly in terms of platinum, but overall, I don't think Demon's is too hard all around, but I would say that I had some of the more... unforgiving and rough moments out of the entire series.

I can't speak for the Defiled Chalice dungeons in this game, but even the brain woman bridge didn't give me anywhere close to the same amount of dead as fighting a Black Phantom Mind Flayer on a narrow-as-fuck stairway.

FUCK THAT PHANTOM.
FUCK IT.

Demon's can be cheap sometimes. Bloodborne is usually fair, which makes it seem easier. The platinum is definitely easier, though, no fucking close. Farming in Demons was a huge pain.

Demon's is my first, and I agree it's the easiest, so... IDK. You can become so strong so easily.
