Medium Rare. I remember when I was young I would ask for well done, then medium well, then medium, and I am at a point where I tried rare, but I prefer it just a bit more done.

Think next time I will try rare again, it was pretty damn tasty.

We do home kill and it's all ways well done. Good steak is good steak no matter how you cook it. Suck that steak snobs

I'd like to home kill people who overcook a steak.

jk obviosly

Anything over medium rare is pretty much a desecration of the beast. Rare here.

I just had medium rare and was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. I used to go medium well.

I think I am going to try rare next.

Very good, you're seeing the light. :)

I always order medium because it always comes back medium rare fucking anyway.

My boyfriend took me to a really expensive steakhouse in Ann Arbor for Valentines day. He paid around $75 for the steak and it was the most beautiful steak I've ever eaten. Ordered it medium and it came back rare. I didn't complain because it was delicious, but I generally find eating food that undercooked to be pretty gross.

Oh, just knock its horns off, wipe its nasty ass, and chunk it right here on this plate.

I enjoy a medium well 2 Lb Porterhouse Steak with lots of steak sauce and a bigass baked potato with butter and chives.

Medium Rare and Medium.

Any less and it feels like I'm just easting a piece a raw meat, any more and it loses in terms of texture, juiciness and flavor (and if it's not a very good place it's just dry)

Medium or well done, people who think a well done steak can no longer be tender need to learn how to cook a steak (and/or need to buy better steak).

Tried blue rare a month ago out of curiosity.

I think I'm in love with it.

Definitely depends on the cut and quality of the meat. When done right, it's absolutely amazing! It's amazing that when done right a barely cooked piece of muscle can melt in your mouth like butter.
