Adown. Now just helping other people beat her.mygdala
Does offing herget rid of the lesser spiders all over Yahar'gul?
Then I am done for the night!Oh no, no it does not.
Hmmm, maybe I'm getting too close and triggering different attacks? You seem to use a bit more distance than me. I've been using the same armor and similar runes. I guess I'll try a little more space tomorrow.
I've actually been doing great at staying above pace with vials compared to the bosses health, but it's always something like the fire puff that ends it all in one animation.
The story chalices get pretty hard, but the depth 5 ones with modifiers are really nuts. Check this video out of a rotten fetid Isz Chalice I stumbled across in the available online ones... It's absurdly brutal even though I have 62 VIT.

Gherman is destroying me. I can get him to his final form easily but he whips my ass. Any tips? Please help.

I'm seeing a lot of talk about Chalice Dungeons lately. Are people enjoying them more? I've only done two, and didn't have that much fun with them. The more difficult ones look interesting, though. But I think I'll just put them off until NG+ or something.
Chalice dungeons aren't completly terrible, there is some fun to be had in them. The problem is, they become very grindy, very quickly. At the end of the day, had they put in the work to expand the main game instead of doing these dungeons I would be a happier person.

Watchdog took me about half an hour but Defiled Amygdala was cake. First shot win, and I even forgot to put in my defensive gems (had Moon, moon and moon :lol)
Do you guys find it rude if the host doesn't bow/gesture at all when you get summoned into their game?
I've struggled badly with that Amygdala mainly because I was BARELY doing any damage to it. Like, 40 per swing, honestly ;_; and I just eventually die for switching off
I won't find it rude, but it's some sort of tradition in the Souls game to at least bow when you meet a player.
You weren't just hitting her legs, were you? That part of her has super high defense.
I was mainly focusing on her head on the first phase, which usually goes smoothly, and then I switch to the tail+legs on the 2nd phase, because it was less risky and random.
Now that I've beaten the game solo, It feels real good summoning dudes in for NG+.

haha maybe just a little.I've been contemplating letting the host die to the boss when they don't bow back. But that might be too mean...

such a boring fight
Hmm, I did that and I was doing like 98 damage to her legs.
Ditto!
Not at all. Having PvP-ed way too much in Souls games, I do however proceed to swiftly kill anyone who attacks me while I'm bowing when I invade.
Oh, I was talking about co-op. I know that some invaders don't bow, though I do.
I knowIt's not at all a problem if the host doesn't gesture me. I know they appreciate my help. I enjoy bonding with them a bit, but hey, I'm here to kill that stupid creature behind that fog gate, anyway! I also like the short and sweet way about it. "There you are. Let's kill it" "OK!"
I was lead on to believe Amygdala would be this impossible boss when I first got there. By the time itit basically died. I know you can reach that area very early, so I guess it'd be really hard, then.ripped of its arms to attack me with
Do I have toshe drops one of the items you need for the true ending (you need 3 out of 4 of them)
also the summons gives you access to an optional area
The easy ones are very boring, but the harder ones can have a lot of the Souls-like tension and many intense moments, and some genuinely challenging bosses (by far the hardest ones really). Depth 3 and below is zzz (unless you do them as soon as they're available, probably), but depth 4 (particularly defiled) and 5 don't fuck around.:O
Wow. That actually makes me want to do Chalice Dungeons, even though I didn't really enjoy the easier ones.

I was using a long range weapon that hit her stomach every third or forth hit from between her legs.
that's still a bit shit innit ;_;
I was way under-leveled perhaps.
Is there a boss easier thanThe Witches?.
They didnt attack only had to run to the glows hit them a bit, keep running evading the minions. Only had to avoid 2 shots on the second stage but was easy, make it on my first attemp without being hit, maybe I was overleveled, I was at 44 with holy sword +6.

Yes.
Please understand.

Now I have to come up with a reason to justify it :^l
Did you leave the game suspended while you were at work? a pretty big glitch can occur if you did thatQuestion about late game boss fight Micolash. Is he supposed to be an easy fight? Or is it glitched for me again? I wasn't able to finish the fight because I had to leave for work, but I easily got him to <33%. He just stood there and absorbed my attacks. wtf
you dirty Strength builds
I had a mere dagger(s) and a cane
Parry city. I had trouble with him until I just started telegraphing his moves such as his roll for a easy parry. When he's charging up to slash you, that's another easy parry.
Move backwards as far as you can to avoid his jumping wind attack.
