Bloodborne |OT+++| ...and so the Nightly Hunt continues

I killed someone with with the Stake Driver charged R2 attack today.

I got a visceral attack on him first which dropped him to around half hp. Then we dodged around each other for a while then I dodged into him and started up the charge, he ended up dodging right in front of me and ate the full blast for the kill.

It was really satisfying.

Finally beat the game. Biggest disappointment was that it pretty much only became easier after Father G.

God damn,
Gherman's line "Tonight, Gherman joins the hunt"
sent chills down my spine.

Was it supposed to be possible to
fall-attack Micolash in the later phase of the fight?
. Had to chase that bastard for 20 minutes... Luckily I had bought 10 molotovs before the fight.

I wish I framed art somewhere. Would love this Bloodborne lithograph that the PlayStation Store is selling for $40.

I am trying to beat defiled a
mygdala
now for three days. Even the dar
k beast of loran
wasn't that hard, hell even the defiled wa
tchdog
was doable. Do not get me wrong both were brutal bosses but doable. This one. NO WAY!

An Incredible amount of HP, super armor, attacks that can reach through the whole room and one hit kill me. Sometimes the boss keeps on smashing and smashing and smashing without stoping. I am reaching phase 3 and then I die. Always.

Long story short.

A ~10 minutes bossfight with one hit kills is not fair.

I know I even sound like Darksydephil, but I've come so far. Did every boss solo, finished the game on NG+, created a new char to finish the game a third time, did not over level and I am 1 trophy away from getting the plat one and now I hit a titanium wall. It is very frustrating.
It was hard as hell the first time I killed him. Today, I killed him again and it was a piece of cake. You just have to get his attack pattern down. Only attack his head 1x when it's down. Also, I found, with his AOE smash, he starts it first with his right hand so always tap dodge right 2x to avoid them, and then, run it hit his head. With you have high bloodlinge and gun, you can easy finish him off longe range in the last phase 3.

What's wrong with you :(

..Capra demon was fun for how much of a fuck you it was to some people.

Capra is one of the best designed fights in all of Souls. It seems impossible and unfair at first but it turns out there's at least 5 if not 6 viable strategies that work everytime, including just lobbing firebombs over the door and never actually fighting it!

I'll have to look into how to frame mine. I'd assume some art store has frames. Or Walmart has some cheap ones. Should be interested, never cared about any poster enough to frame before.

That fucking U
ndead
G
iant
.. wasted all my vials.. did a no vial run.. downed him with no problem.. I think my biggest weakness in this game is how stylish I want to end the fights..

Speaking of new experiences. I never messed with Chalice dungeons.
How would summoning a friend work in there? Would he have to join his own dungeon that's the same root/name?
I believe I skimmed through that there's a wait room of sorts so I'd assume there where you summon.

I did it. I finally got platinum trophy! And it's my first one ever.

And yet I still feel so empty. Didn't want it to end. D: What do I do now?

Isofeka disappeared in my game. I went from the back entrance with the white church outfit and she warned me, so I left. Went back through the stairs to talk to her and slashed the door a few times. She got mad, so I went around to try and fight her, but she wasn't there? Reloaded the map, explored the whole clinic and she's still missing.

Where did she go?? Also, the door from the stairway is now open from the lamp.

Been playing an arcane build, and man, I feel like I made a big mistake. Even with fire and bolt gems I'm doing less damage than my friend's strength build. 50 arcane and all, and it's garbage.

Really hate how you can't reroll stats.

Grab a Tonitrus, you'll destroy things.

Can we get
the scythe and the other weapons in the chalice dungeon without getting the vanilla? I don't want to get to NG+ just to use the scythe.

Y
ou can cheese the fight by throwing poison knives at him from the balcony.

As of Gerhman's line I absolutely love it.
As of Micolash boss fight , no you don't have to chase him for 20 min. After you take half his health, he disappears and you have to find him (go up). Once you have found him, let him run but stay close to him. He will enter an area where he locks the door and you have to find another to get him. Once you get to him he is trapped in that room.

Last night I had my first bunch of Watchdog fights. How will I ever beat that? I got him to half health once and felt it was a great achievement. I'm considering giving up or at least taking a break. The bosses in Defiled are such a huge jump in difficulty. Nothing in the main game or even the dungeons before that prepares you for this pounding.

Beat the chalice BSB last night while pounding Dead Guy beers and casually chatting on PSN. the muscle memory is FINALLY in place for like... half of these bosses.

It's so strange going neo when these guys scared the living shite out of me only a few weeks ago. like TobsMcguire in the first spider man when he's watching Flash punch in slow motion. "... well look at that...."

I have the platinum trophy to but I still keep playing, most of my time is spent in nightmare frontier invading people but there are som chalice dungeon which I stil have to play. I recommend pvp, chalice dungeon or u could go through the game again and again. You can never get tired of the gehrman fight.

God, fuck the Byrgenworth boss.

What in the fuck am I supposed to do when he summons the meteor attack when I'm right next to him!?!? It's so awkward trying to look up at the meteors while trying to run around the spiders you can't see since the camera is pointed straight up, and dodging basically feels like a crap shoot since there's not enough time to change course by the time you notice one is pointed towards you. I've got Rom down to the point where another two or three hits would have killed him several times, then been immediately killed from full health because he used the meteors while I was right on top of him.

From a distance I'm fine, just look up and weave around them, it's just when he used it when I'm close by.

Vicar Amelia was a sticking point for me too but that at least felt fair. When I finally beat her I realized I was wasn't being aggressive enough, and beating that fight felt like an accomplishment. I could feel myself getting better at the game.

Rom feels like fucking bullshit. You just don't have to tools to react when he uses it at close range. I feel like this fight isn't going to be satisfying at all to beat since I'll need to get lucky and either hope he doesn't use that move when I'm nearby or get lucky and avoid getting hit by sheer luck.

I "cheated" and looked up hints, apparently the thing to do is wait for him to attack, run in and hit him once or twice, and then run away. First, that's going to take forvever, second he sometimes uses two moves with not much time in between so that's not a surefire method anyway.

I hope they patch this like Capra Demon, there's already enough to worry about with the upward meteor attack, his pounding attack, is AOE move, and his spider buddies. Really no need for this additional move that required to look straight up. Patch it so he only uses the meteors when you're a set distance away.

Ugh, so fucking frustrating. Think I'm going to try another couple times and then shelf the game for a few days.

Effing finally.
Just got my platinum. Took me 61 hours, 7 minutes. Ended on level 195. Feels good.

LOVED this game. First souls game I was eager to 100%.

Now give me Demon's HD Remaster, FROM <3

What's up with people not putting spoiler tags on end game bosses? It seems like the last boss has been ruined for me now. Use spoiler tags people.

I don't know why people have trouble with R
om. I beat him in like two tries. First off, completely ignore the spiders, like completely. I didn't kill a single one. Just run right in to Rom's side, hack away, strafe all over his side. I did this and I was able to get him to teleport before he would even use his meteor attack. Do this repeatedly and he dies.

The elevator bug/glitch in
lumenflower gardens
is pissing me off. Someone please tell me there's a fix or if they are gonna patch it soon?

Seriously haha. Using that strategy I beat both versions of him in exactly 3 tries.

Have someone join that isn't glitched I heard. That said can you not run over the plate again and roll off so that the next time you play it is back in the same position? I do that now just because of all the talk of the glitching and have never not had it there.

God, fuck the Byrgenworth boss..
Ive beaten him with 3 different characters now and i never looked up to dodge the meteors. Just start rolling about 1 second after he throws em at you. Also 2 of the times that i beat him i killed all the spiders first, it takes a little bit longer but its much safer. The third time i used the cannon+Tonitrus and he was dead in 1 minute

Whatever build you're going with you should definitely grab the Tonitrus and upgrade it for this fight

That's basically my exact strategy, but without fail he'll use the meteor attack at some point when I'm standing right next to him.

Problem is that he sometimes teleports so far away that you'll be ice-stormed a couple of times before you get close enough to start inflicting damage.

yep, did it the same way xD

I don't see how that's even possible, I start rolling around and hope for the best as soon as he slams down and feels like luck whether or not I get hit.

I keep seeing people mentioning that weapon for this fight, but I don't have it and I'm trying to use guides as little as possible. Might have to break down eventually but for now I'm sticking with what I have.

I'm fine with that, I can dodge them every time at a distance, it's just when he uses it at close range I can't deal with it.

I've fought him, I don't know exactly but something like ten times and that's the only move he's killed me with, and every time I've had full health or really close to full health.

Right now the unseen village post-
Rom
is making me rage. This area is straight up unfun.

Awesome =/
