So that Chris Pratt can say, about 45 minutes into the movie "If we're doing this, we're going to do it MY WAY" and the director is like "NOOO Pratt you're a loose cannon! We have a security budget for a reason, you're just a trainer!" but then Pratt saves the day by loving Dinosaurs.

I love you.

Movie ends with Pratt and the big monster Dino hugging it out, then Pratt puts a saddle on him and rides off into the sunset.

It's a better representation of the film, good to that raptor do what raptors do as well.

But man, just goes to show you how magical the first one is.

The end of the trailer seemed to seriously suggest that at some point the movie just becomes a Dinosaur Battle Royale that just happens to include the audience of 20,000 as stage interactables.

CG is starting to look great. Raptors in the beginning really stand out.

Oh man...this looks like it is re-treading sooooo much previous material...and docile raptors?? Ugh.

The trailer opens with Pratt's character talking about how he doesn't have control over them AND it showed a raptor literally leaping onto a human.

When is this "docile raptor" shit going to stop?

BTW, i'm VERY worried about that "she's killing for sport" thing, it might be Spinosaurus all over again it seems.
And that would be bad.

I hope so, that would be sweet, and no doubt the T-Rex will be involved.

But does that mean Pratt will be blamed for the parks damages and all those people he didn't save on Internet message boards forever?

I will say this..

I won't be shocked if he bro fists a Raptor. I think the movie honestly looks like a wild and fun rollercoaster which is what i want from a dinosaur movie and what i want from a summer blockbuster. I am super excited for it.

Yeah, I am worried about that too, but I am HOPING they use it as a foil to the "real" dinosaurs and their behavior.

EDIT: Also, LOVE the shots of the raptors running through the jungle at night. The composite shot of Pratt on the cycle + the raptors still looks off somehow, though.

Ha, I thought I recognized Jake Johnson in that trailer - had forgotten he was in this movie. At the very least he'll have some fun one liners and tension-relieving zingers.

Nice trailer but i still hate the whole "controlling raptors" shit, it's so silly.

Controllable raptor bros.

Does that work better for you?

It doesn't look like it really has any of the "scary" feel of the original JP. Just kinda looks like dudes with guns running around trying to kill a big dinosaur that's killing all the stuff.

I kind of look at it the same way as trainers "control" bears or lions. They're not really in control, but they understand the unpredictable nature of these animals. We can also see the raptors straight up eating people later in the trailer so at least we know they're not really domesticated lol.

So the new dinosaur controls other dinos with the power of fear and Pratt does it with the power of love? I wonder who will win!

The trailer suggests that it still has those segregated kind of moments, even the teaser did. The guys going after the hybrid is likely around the middle of the movie.

It looks so hilariously shitty, I want to like it but I don't think I can. o.O

Pratt looks dope as fuck in it though, I really wish all his lines weren't terrible.

Looks good to me still. I'm getting everything I want out of this trailer. This is basically the idea I had back when watching the film as a kid and the Hyrbid Toy Line coming out. Only thing I found questionable was the Irex knowing it had a tracker and pulling it out. I can let that slide though.
