overall I enjoyed the episode, and liked it way more than last weeks. while there were a few weak moments, most of them I can logic away with (just this episode discussion, I like to spoiler stuff :P)
actually seeing someone shape shift could cause you to react weirdly. The eddie scene was a bit hard to do so, but that was the only major issue scene for me. I mean the later fight scene I was quite happy he was able to pumble on the shoplifter even though it was taking random forms of his friends, even if there was the pause at the start of that. I think we could have spent a little less time on the meta though and had a bit more time devoted to the testing and discovery of the body, as well as the later stuff. It felt rushed, which was weird because the meta felt a bit drawn out, so they could have easily balanced those better.

That Baityln scene...It opens up so many new opportunities. Cisco and Laurel was great. Laurel needs to come back and have fun as the Black Canary now that she has her Canary Cry.

When they showed Iris in the lab jail cell at the end I had my hopes but that it was the real Iris and Everyman managed to trick his way out.

I had the same thought multiple times.
The stupidest moment IMO would have to be when the shapeshifter changed into Caitlin and Barry paused. Eddie at the house, okay Barry's still naive and it was a semi-reasonable excuse. The shapeshifter in the car, stupid but still kind of cool on the shifter's part

But come on, you know what the shifter can do, you've seen it change before, why the hell would you pause? Maybe if it was life or death, I could buy it. Like he had to shoot the shifter in the head and it changed into a close friend. But a temporary harmless serum? That was just silly

So Laurel is the dom and Cisco is the sub. Am I saying that right? She wears black leather and rocks a baton...

So once again a show misleads us with a preview in Eddie shooting the cops is actually a shapeshifter. Great episode though

We all pretty much guessed that when Everyman was mentioned in the episode description. Any Eddie turning evil plot line is probably not until next season.
Although the shot of Wells in prison that someone thought could be Everyman still hasn't been seen.

I guess that Baitlyn scene kind of confirms she only sees Barry platonically.

A shame, but expected.

She was totally into that second kiss.

Watch Reverse Flash pull a Deathstroke & drop the Barry-Flash bomb on Iris out of the blue.

It's weird to see people get hung up on Barry letting Everyman in because that is some stupid shit anyone would do.

The real question is how Everyman found out where Barry lives.

So I'm confused about the time travel thing. Barry went back in time 1 day and doing that erased the Barry in that past timeline? So that means the present day Barry is missing in addition to Well's future Barry?

The explicit rules of time travel haven't been explained on the show yet, but it appears at least that when Barry enters a time period where both he and the speedforce exist, he simply takes over and replaces that Barry.

As for timelines, we are potentially on our 3rd.

Ah, ok. Maybe they'll explain more in the remaining episodes now that they found out about Wells.

"What the frack" about sums it up lol

Holy fuck what a great episode.

Barry's reaction to the
future newspaper

Fuck man I gotta find next weeks preview. Hulu doesn't show any

Good episode, shape shifter shenanigans and characters being "dumb" be damned. If the characters were all written to always been 100% smart the show would be 20 minutes or less every week. If Wells somehow didn't know before he certainly will now, I was kind of disappointed Gideon didn't pop up.

I find it funny that this show thinks there will still be newspapers in 2024.

E-paper is resurrect the industry!

Not quite sure how I feel about that episode overall.

The parts about investigating Wells was good, Laurel was great but most of the stuff around the shapeshifter storyline wasn't very good. Barry especially seemed like an idiot this episode, the freezing during the final fight being particularly dumb.

The only good thing about this episode was that Laurel Lance looked fucking phenomenal, she never looks that good on Arrow. Are Flash cameras doing some kind of magic?

She was allowed to smile on The Flash.

Every female character was written to be stupid with a vengeance. That lady's acting at the beginning was so bad it sounded like a robot's simulation of a human. And shapeshifter dude turning into a little girl was cringe dumb. More Iris being annoying. WHY IS EVERYONE DUMB ALL OF A SUDDEN.

What. The bank lady was bad because of her bad acting, not because of any writing.

And the shapeshifter was a guy pretending to be a woman.

Anyway.....

So basically Flash disappeared in 2024.

The particle accelerator was only supposed to be completed by 2020.

Eobard Thawne is the great great grandson of Eddie Thawne.

What are the chances that Eobard went back in time to 2024 to defeat The Flash who 'ruined' Eddie's life (and in a way, his), was losing, went back more in time to kill Flash when he was a kid but failed?

Really didn't care for this episode. Seemed unreasonable dumb at times. The Flash in general has been far too corny for me as of late. Leaps in logic and such that just irk me.

God damn, the last two episodes have been fucking weak. Like Arrow Season 3 levels, almost.

Flash has done an incredible job of setting up the world, of building the characters...but the past few have broken things left and right. Why was Eddie told? No reason has been given for that. And at this point, not telling Iris...to protect her? Villains already think she knows who the flash is...telling her doesn't change a thing.

And then everyone...EVERYONE acting like a fucking moron this episode. Barry standing there like a clueless idiot watching a guy give him a cheeky wave and stroll around the corner. The lies that are so poorly acted..from Cisco, from Caitlin, from Barry. And Iris, Caitlin, and Wells all think that shoving your superpowered murdering psychopath in the back of a prius is safe? Then you have Caitlin begging Iris to drive, to get out of there, but Iris goes "I can't"....Barry being shocked, SHOCKED that the shapeshifter can shift shapes. Fuck, it went on and on and on...and lets not talk about them bringing the stink of Starling City into this.

OK, so taht turned into more of a babbling rant than I expected, but it's 5am...so...

at least the preview looks promising. I think I'll edit the last two episodes down to pretty much just the few minutes at the end before watching them again with my wife...
