Sounds like it's landing where I expected it to. Entertaining film but nothing groundbreaking in marvelscape. But I'll see for myself next thursday
.
RT is 81, IMDB is 8.8 and Meta is 72
I hope it stays that way before I see it on midnight, dont want to go in with a negative mindset. For anyone who has seen it, does it reach TWS and IM1 level because those are the kinds which I watch repeatedly
For those who have seen it, what was your impression of the music in the film?
A waste of ten quid and I don't even wanna see it any more lol.
Not really.
I booked my tickets to see Avengers last night to see it today at 3:30pm. I make my way there, I get off the bus and notice massive roadworks by a really small bridge near the showcase cinema. The workers tell me I cant walk through so I make my way to the near by cemetery and climb over a wall onto the canal because I know theres a way down to the cinema but nooooooooo that's all fenced off. My only other option is to walk home and go the other way around but if I did that I would of missed 30 minutes of the film so I just went home but I left my keys because I didn't think I'd be home until after 6pm so I have to twiddle my thumbs in the garden waiting for some one to come home for an hour and a half.

A representative for Chris Evans sent the following statement to USA TODAY via email:
"Yesterday we were asked about the rumors that Black Widow wanted to be in a relationship with both Hawkeye and Captain America. We answered in a juvenile and offensive way that rightfully angered some fans. I regret it and sincerely apologize."
A representative for Jeremy Renner also sent this statement to USA TODAY:
"I am sorry that this tasteless joke about a fictional character offended anyone. It was not meant to be serious in any way. Just poking fun during an exhausting and tedious press tour."
What did he say? Can't watch the video where I am.
They both apologized but Renner was still a dick about it.
Ultron was well done for what the film allowed the character to be. Spader definitely didn't phone it in, there was good character work in the portrayal. But it just feels sort of lost in everything else. It's weird to describe it because as far as the story goes, Ultron is really the only villain, but yet I never really felt that he was driving the movie. Maybe a bit like Loki in the first Avengers. A lot of the action and major beats just felt like noise.
Every Avenger definitely gets their moments in the film, I think this is where Whedon tried really hard to make it more "balanced" than the first Avengers was. I don't think all of it worked though. A+ for effort, but the execution ranges from B- to C-.

yes, because calling the only female avenger misogynistic slurs is no big deal.I'm with him. It's insane how touchy people are about everything. Especially with something like this.

yeah it was a joke but it's still gross and people have every right to be annoyed.

In the context of the question its absolutely fine. People making mountains out of molehills, as they so often do nowadays.
Again, a good chunk of Phase 3 leaked prior to the press conference. On top of Guardians 2 being revealed at Comic-Con 2015...I think Marvel should've hold on anouncing Phase 3 slate after Phase 2 was over. It really killed this movie for some reason. I'm more interested in Phase 3 stuff than AoU and Ant-man.

- Civil War
- Doctor Strange
- Avengers 3 in 2 Parts
- Inhumans
All leaked before they were officially revealed. Had Marvel waited any longer, the rest of the Phase 3 slate would have leaked as well.
Got Star Wars, Jurassic World and Ant Man at my cinema in WA
EDIT: The movie was great. Some unexpected moments and one of my favorite Marvel films.
I wonder how much of the phase 3 seeding here is actually noticeable to people who don't pay attention to those announcements though?
It reminds me of Iron Man 2, where the people who complained about too many Avengers allusions and MCU references were the ones who knew who the Avengers were in the first place. Whereas for those who didn't, it went right over their heads.
The fact that Marvel announced its entire slate a few months back takes a lot of the impact away. If we didn't know about a Black Panther film, the mention of Wakanda would have been mind-blowing. Instead, it fell flat.
They both (jokingly) called her a slut/whore.
Taking this quote from one of the RT reviews which, while positive, uses this as it's quote.
Although I love the movie, If there's anything I agree about being kind of a negative, it's kind of this. Is there anything this movie benefited from by actually getting the entire Phase 3 laid out prior to the movie? Almost feels better if they would have saved all of that info until after Avengers 2.
