I would run Asus realbench, 3dmark, cinebench R15, virus scans while Chroming on 4k/60fps YT and Neogaf gifs, play some BF4 mp, a quick 15mins of OCCT. Just really normal multitasking stuffs. If no BSOD after an hour or 2, then you can do your things you want with your new PC. No need to run 12hr stress tests, much less 24hrs, IMO.
Be warn though, Haswell-E gets hot when you run OCCT, and even more toasty with P95 AVX2. So i have skipped P95 AVX2.
Haswell-E overclocking is highly dependent on the CPU, less so on motherboards. Heat is dependent on your vcore. Get lucky with a CPU, keep the heat down, and you get better stability. 4.3Ghz at 1.2v is pretty good, wont get toasty under load. IMO 5820K is a great buy with 50% more cores at only 15% more $$$ over the 4790K. The new Q6600/3930K. And you managed to get one that runs 4.3Ghz on a single core, that is enough horsepower even in the face of the upcoming Skylakes and Canonlakes.
Here's mine btw.
