Might need to manually adjust the colour and contrast for the first time in the series, they went a little overboard I think. Other than that, beautiful art once again and although not as polished and refined as the first 2 games, it works quite well with a more open and 3D world and gameplay.

Yeah, what is that Reset demo? I've never heard of it. Looks pretty nice. Seems like it's built on CryEngine am I right? If it's being made by two people I'd say that's some impressive stuff.

It's a first-person puzzle game that's been a long time coming, first announced it in 2012. They're using their own engine called Praxis.

Very nice preset. I just picked up this game and all of it's DLC for $30 and would like to use this setting. What sort of performance impact does your preset have on frame rate? Please let me know if/when you release your preset and which version of ReShade/MasterEffect you're using since I'm still using version 16 (pre-Framework).

I never thought I'd ever see someone who managed to make Crysis look bad... haha. :\ Sorry SuperGamer but yeah...
In my defense, I took those screenshots using an old CRT monitor... I only just realized how badly over-sharpened it looks when I looked at it again on a plasma display just a while ago. I didn't realize it could make that much of a difference. My bad. I apologize to everyone for those screenshots.

Enough with the Trine for now - I'd love to see an Action RPG using the same graphics

edit - I mean the company for releasing them so often, not the poster for posting them (they look amazing)

This is only the third ;)

And they've progressed to semi 3d worlds now, some foreground/background paths and some fighting in small 3d areas.

While I'm not convinced these devs have it in them (Trine 3 has some control and depth problems, as well as looking a bit off during collision/interaction in 3d sections), the engine certainly looks capable.

Often? Trine 2 came out December 2011, they are not exactly churning these out on a yearly cycle.

Thx, I'll put it up soon. I'm using version 1.6.1. To be honest I haven't had a chance to check the kind of framerates I'm getting because I've been pausing the game so often to take screenshots. I've been downsampling it from 5k>1440p and it feels like I'm getting around 25-35 fps on ultra settings..sorry I know that's vague. I'll run the fps counter on Afterburner on my next play through and I'll let you know. I have a Windforce R290 and an i7 4790k.

Oh, I think the engine has a lot of similarities to what CryEngine looked like in the Crysis 2 era some years back. In those more recent trailers it looks even better but holy mother of god those clouds in the end of that second video look godlike insane.

Never seen that realistic cloud rendering in a game.

So painterly! o----o

Give them feedback on those colors/contrast though. Does feel like it could be dialed down just a tad notch.

Killing Floor 2, needs better AA than just FXAA. Even downsampling aint gonna fix some of those problems. Loving overall look though.

The gore and style of the original shine through and through.

I am really digging how Dirt Rally looks. I actually came here to see if anyone was posting some more shots of it :p

^yeah for sure. Unfortunately the game doesn't play as well in the open, 3D sections. Really disappointing at this stage but we'll see if they can tighten up the controls.
