New Halo 5 ARG?

Yeah. The words on the bullet are pretty old, and the significance of the other thing is still up in the air. It's almost certainly something, but the coordinates don't quite match up.

EDIT: Shamelessly taking this pagetopping opportunity to say that I'm up for joining anybody's team. Probably won't be much use but I'm willing to try!
 
Is this the thread where we basically make a mini resume detailing our usefulness to a team?

I found those coordinates on Google earth

It's weird how various things are all pointing to the gauntlet site, but the gauntlet site just leads to the video. I assume we've broken a bunch of things since the countdown hasn't finished yet. I wish they'd just make it live so links worked properly.

So in order to win prizes in the ARG you have to be in a team of 4. There will be ways of getting people together and making your own team or entering as a solo and being put onto a team. It's all in the terms and conditions, which someone linked to a pastebin version earlier but if you go to huntthesignal.com on a mobile phone, they're there on the bottom.

I'm still fuzzy on how people found the Dr Halsey short story thing, so I'm wondering if the url is just looping for now, cause it'll eventually link to the story, and probably another clue.
 
Not sure if anyone has brought this up, but the latest HuntTheTruth episode might have something hidden in it right at the end. The sounds seem like the might have an image in it.

I don't have the means to convert it into an image but if some one does it might lead somewhere.

It's pretty sneaky of them but like you said, it seems to be a common method to hide something in an ARG. If it isn't photoshop tinkering or file property clues xD

It's still irritating me that there are numerous things that link to the gauntlet site but they all just go to the YT video in a loop.

It's just not live yet. Come Wednesday the hunt is on. After the ARGs for TDK, Tron Legacy, and Nine Inch Nails' Year Zero, I say bring it on!

Odd - I had found the stolengauntlet.com link, not a silentgauntlet.com site.

More gauntlet's confirmed?

I doubt the bullet is any different, because there's no way of reading it the way it is animated. That's why we got that special player with the slider, so they could let's us play with a separate animation.

The compass part is easy, but I don't think it's working beyond that, just get a blank page from the team page.

Does it matter how many people are on a team? Should I be joining one which only has a certain amount of people in it? I was actually in one but the chat decided to stop working as we were trying to organise ourselves.

You need 4 people to get your (unique I think) link to the next part of the puzzle.

There can only be four winners for the main prize (the rules don't show any other prizes but imply digital codes). So I imagine you can have 20 people on your team but if you are apart of the first four on your team the rest of the people on your team just miss out on that prize. The group chat crashed on us too.

Ah, forget that then, anyone have any space free for a 4 person team? I got to the bubble part with another team along with the codes needed to input (i assume) but either the chat broke or they just stopped responding.

Well all the public groups are useless, they're basically all afk and aren't moving anywhere so I've set up a group...
