The salt is real. Even if the Patriots did actually cheat, I am highly skeptical that it had any impact on the game. Penalize them accordingly because rule-breaking should be discouraged, but it doesn't really put an asterisk next to the victory in my eyes.

I think everyone would agree that they still would've won. It's the principle that they felt they needed to cheat to win

I'm saying it seems like a de minimis violation that frustrated people are clinging to in order to rationalize how the Patriots continue to beat them year after year, instead of the obvious reasons like having better personnel. The taped practices seem like a much bigger deal than this.

i'm confused about the texts. They say the refs were over-inflating balls, almost as much as 3 PSI over the legal limit and that the two equipment dudes were also fucking with Tom by over-inflating them.
