New Halo 5 ARG?

Twelve pictures have apparently been found.. damn it!

It's really quiet in here. Is anyone else working on this?

Re-cap of the steps so far. There has hardly been anything actually found in the ARG, just lots of snooping in source code and stuff because the ARG puzzle steps are a dead end atm.

If you are having trouble with this, use a flat surface like a desk or table.

Sign up. Make a team. get 4 players.

ABC Circles Puzzle: Coordinates [C3 - B5] [A1 - C2] [B2 - B5] [A5 - C2]

Each of your team needs to hold one of these pairs on a phone at the same time.

Birth Of A Hero (or BOH)

Each member of the team is given an encrypted URL. The cypher for these four urls is the chiefs birthdate repeated.

on each of these pages is an image. A fifth is located at five.html.

At this time, its assumed that there are 49. In reference to locke's message.

One piece was found in the source code of the HtT tumlbr page. All those images should be imgur links apparently, so not to hard to spot. Just have to go to every Halo relates site and check source codes I guess.

Yeah, I'm guessing people are working in teams and not really sharing what's happening since this ARG actually has a prize only 1 team can win.

That and has there been any press releases saying with this you can have your face in Halo 5? Because I'm sure that'd get more peoples attention. It's a great idea/prize.

I hope the next thing any Halo press account releases is a clue as to what to do next. Haven't made any progress as far as the ARG puzzles goes since like.. yesterday :(

I ended up not even trying after the first hour it went up. I had figured we needed to push our phone at the same time my team went MIA and so I just gave up. I thought needed a team was going to be cool, but I can't continue at all because of no team and the public ones are no good.

Humm. I checked most of the common places (H5 page, MCC page, Waypoint, etc) and didn't come up with anything else.

Yeah one of the first steps requires you to be in a team and for you to all press a set of button at the same time but it doesn't matter at this point. Where that bit leads to is a set of images that you can find online :L

Yeah Im with you being in a team kinda sucks when there not active. :(
 
I don't like the team thing. I don't know if you can still play along without doing that but it killed any interest for me.

It's really just a barrier for entry for now, since the only thing that requires a team is the first puzzle. But I'm sure there will be more later
 
Yeah I must admit as well the interest in this Arg compared to the previous two is low and the main reason is the team thing, also it seem Xbox is advertising this one a lot more publicly.

Team thing plus tricky first puzzles that require coordination plus dead end equals no one really getting anywhere and giving up. I can't believe there were only 100 teams mentioned to get past the first bit.

I think Ill just wait till we get an Arg for something like Tomb Raider which won't be team based.

Yeah something about 'the dates will guide you!' or something.. but I can't imagine where I'd even use them at this point.

It's been a weird mix, some stuff found via code breaking, some just posted to social media, some in page code.. I dunno.

I mean everything so far has been listed with fake dates that pertain to Halo:

Saw 117 (11/7/2014) and thought I had an epiphany, but of those only the last one (37) corresponds to a known Spartan (Randall).

Still, might be worth checking:

5/8/2014 (Linda)
 
Would love to join but it would collide with deadlines of my final year of uni unfortunately and I have no clue what would be required of me.
 
This ARG has gone a little weird. The circuits might all be out there in the wild although there is no definitive conclusion.

Even then, we already have the URL that the circuits lead us to but that only re-directs us to waypoint.

The team of 4 I am in have hit a brick wall at the moment - has anyone made any more progress? PMs are encouraged if you don't want to post!
