I still don't believe that they choosed PS4 for review because of better quality over the PC version.. many distributors in Central and Eastern Europe wanted that the web-sites or magazines would wait a little and just reviewed the PC version, because that's the version which most people are expecting or are curious and because it's the best from the technical viewpoint

I think strafing alone elevates it above W2 and with addition of step doges, better hit reaction, it is leagues better. But if you found Witcher 2 combat absolutely horrid I don't think you'll like this one very much.
I'm still not sure how lock on works. Anyone knows if the camera can center on the locked on enemy ?

That'd be my guess. I can see lots of 9s thrown around, a few 10s, and then probably enough 7s/8s from those less enthused, or more bothered by the rough parts to make it a 90 average.

Witcher games aren't for everyone and I reckon we'll see that reflected.
Still very excited for the game but don't think fellow Witcher fans excitement for the game will necessarily translate into high review scores.
They might have made the game more accessible, but that doesn't mean it's an accessible game. (does that make sense ha). Still expects a lot from the player, reading is a near requirement, combat still has the euro-janky charm and with a game leaning even heavier into the dense lore don't think it'll be for all.
We shall see. Happy to be wrong. But even then those scores doesn't mean CDPR have struck rpg gold. DA:I got high scores and personally found that blander than biege paint drying.
