He does the best gaming reviews ever. I was hoping it was going to be the same guy. Thanks for posting

I still think this is one of the best teasers out there:

I'm going on a mission to try and break the Aussie street date. I'm sure some stores will have it. Let's hope I can make it happen.
Also, if anyone would like to help me with the OT by making some avatars I'd be much appreciative.
Also, I was thinking of posting the OT on Sunday. What do ppl think? Then or earlier? There are so many threads on the main page already surely it's nearly time to consolidate it all into one place?
I really don't know where to buy this from. Target is giving you the strategy guide for free, best buy is giving you $10 after you preorder and buy it, and PSN unlocks Monday night and is $7 cheaper. I'm leaning to target, but I'm not sure.
I went through IGN streams VOD and screencapped some gear stats; http://imgur.com/a/QxUv2#0
The Witcher 3's subject matter, its almost defiant doubling down on its treatment of women as titillating props for Geralt and the player, even as it tries to flesh out more female leads, is its most disappointing aspect. This constant presence weighs down what would otherwise be an excellent bit of closure for Geralt's video game saga
So for those who want to see how the choosing of events from TW2 is handled in TW3, here it is:

Also, while I did not by any means see every city, burg and outpost in The Witcher 3's world in my 70+ hours spent within it, I don't recall a single non-white humanoid anywhere not in Skellige, Novograd, Oxenfurt or anywhere else. Once I realized this I couldn't stop looking for any example of a person of color anywhere, and I never found it, unless you count naked monster women sitting at the feet of a boss like a slightly more awkward tribute to a Frank Frazetta painting. But maybe they're in there, somewhere.

Why were people waiting for a review from Polygon?
From Polygon's review:
Truly shocked...
Do you have a link to the archived stream?
Only PS4 is getting it atmI saw someone say that the day one patch is out but gog didn't download anything...anything I have to do to initiate it?
I can order it with a VPN, but would I need to play it with a VPN? (its GOG...)
Yes, I agree objectifying woman is a bad thing. However I would hope a PROFESSIONAL opinion would be objective enough to not clash with ones personal moral crusade.
Hmmmm. That's weird. I initiated the gog download again and it's a full gig bigger than what I downloaded the other day

It is the Dark Ages. Treatment of humanity in general was pretty shitty. Yes its a fantasy version of Europe basically but that doesn't change much in the fantasy version the Dark Ages are just as bad
He found that disappointing, he did not like it, and articulated his thoughts very well in the review. Still got an 8 (like the Destructoid's one nobody is criticizing). I would say the reviewer has been pretty fair.
There's a difference between making every girl become a weak damsel, waiting for a man to save and then sex her right after, and prostitution and debauchery that fits the world of the game.
So long as it's the latter and not the former, we are good to go.
Also, I hated using potions. I hope traps are still awesome.
Y'all better not have a breakdown over a good review score from a site that you never even liked in the first place.
