PlayStation E3 Experience 2015 Announced (Theaters)

I wonder what the freebies will be. What are the odds of Geoff Keighley walking around and handing out free Geoff Keighley PlayStation 4 faceplates to people at the event?

I'm sure he would clone himself and do just that for everyone if he could ;)

An exclusive faceplate is a good idea actually to hand out. Just normal faceplates with the letters 'TLG" inscribed on them. Sony workers would then shush your lips and tell you everything would be alright from then on.

Hopefully there's an Ohio theater closer to me than Columbus again, but probably not. I'll be there again for sure though; last time was a really great experience.

That's not quite working though, is it? The questions been asked are about the lack of first party AAA to match xbone. GamesTM has a two page feature on it this month.

For me, there's plenty to play, but these questions are been asked of them, and they need a solid answer.

That just means people are stupid.

XB1 doesn't have a superior FP output. It's easy to start a narrative and make it believable though. I mean damn we just had Bloodborne released and The Order the month before. XB1 hasn't had a big FP game come out all year so far. But it doesn't matter anyway since it's off season.

Big screen for lame ass indie "games" pfft

I went to this last year and had a thoroughly bad time. The video quality was shit and some people in the theater with me were real annoying. I'll be staying home this year.

This was my experience to. Plus i'm an anti-social gamer so that whole atmosphere was awkward for me. Not really worth the $5 psn credit for me. Since they are doing more theaters this year I doubt the surprise will be much more than that this year.

Quite enjoyed last year's at San Antonio. Here's hoping for one at Austin so that I won't have to drive an hour and half. :)

Sweet they said every state which means Hawaii is included unlike last year. Depending what theater it is I may just go and watch Sony's conference this way rather than my computer.

I wish I could go to E3 or the second best thing the theater experience, but can't. Maybe some day which would be very nice, having fun and loving every minute would be really awesome, I believe

lol, thats a little harsh hehe...I think there was only one theater in the Montreal area last year that showed this,I didnt go,not sure if it was full or not.

I was there, it was almost completely full. There were a few empty seats here and there but I imagine those were because of no-shows.

Last years broadcast in theaters was hilariously bad, might go see it again this year.

The quality was very good in our case, no stutter and it was HD all stream long. Maybe it'll be better this time around?

Yeah, I was at the Montreal theater as well. The stream was fine the whole way through, and the crowd was good, too. It was a pleasant experience, overall.

That's the funniest part. Everyone is harping on Sony's first party output but Microsoft hasn't released anything big first party since November, and only then that was a bloody remaster.

Ot: I really enjoyed the one last year. Great atmosphere. I wonder what goodies we'll get...

I still dont get how this type of thing is fun.

I can do all that in the comfort of my own home. It's like going to the cinema, just to watch trailers, or random adverts... why... just why....
Well, its an event for PlayStation fans to meet other PlayStation fans, enjoy each others company, maybe converse about a subject you all have in common (games/PlayStation), and to get free swag centered around PlayStation.

So if you don't like people, or games, or PlayStation, of course it would be unappealing.

I enjoy my E3 experience at home, on my laptop, talking on GAF about what's going on. Not in a theater without wifi, without being in a situation to talk out loud or blurt out when something exciting happens.

Silly question, first time actually going to E-3. Are the Sony and Microsoft conferences broadcast through out the convention center if you don't have tickets to the actual presser?

I really want to go. Last year the tickets sold out almost instantaneously.

This year I'm hoping to go with a few friends. Seems like it'll be a fun event.
