Ok so here's what you posted

So basically "Don't worry about Zelda guys they have lots of other goodies to show." I don't see how you could possibly be unaware of how that sounds. It implies you know enough about their development/release plans to assure us that they have other goodies. You are speaking as if you have information that nobody else is aware of. This is compounded by the fact that this is the second time you have made an extremely vague comment about E3 reveals in the thread. Personally, I find it highly skeptical and suspicious that right after you are granted membership you start talking as if you have insight into the industry when there was 0 such talk or even the slightest hint of such knowledge in the massive flood of posts you have made on this forum the past few weeks prior to your being granted membership.

Every time someone confronts you about something objectionable in your posts your response has been to immediately back pedal and diminish your presence. This has happened multiple times now in multiple different threads and frankly it's infuriating. You don't get to say stupid shit and then say "oh we'll never mind me guys. Goodbye." I mean seriously what the fuck?
Um, what is wrong with you? Nothing he posted even barely connotes being an "insider" on any level.

That is, unless you seriously think that there's a snowball's chance in hell that Nintendo has nothing in the pipeline to show except for Zelda, in which case...seriously?

E3 got some of you seriously wound up. It's not even June yet, chill~

Thank you.

Anyway, this is what I was going for but it seems there is some confusion with my posts I should edit the previous to be more clear.

In Herman Cain we trust!

I completely forgot about the PC conference! That's going to be an interesting show, it might be the most entertaining given who's hosting. I'm picturing a far more casual, stripped down event with the trailers and gameplay demos we love, but with more of a general laid back attitude.

I dont know, I'm concerned for length, which will effect how much time games are shown, and whether we will get repeats of games already shown, just the PC version.

I guess we will find out.

I really don't see how anyone would read "Lots of goodies to show" as a statement and not think it implies insider knowledge especially since the same poster has already made an incredibly vague hint at a new game reveal in this same thread before going back and editing in qualifying statements after a mod confronted him about it. Context is important.

"Lots of goodies to show" does not merely mean they'll have other things to show it reads as "hey guys they have lots of stuff they can show." Which indicates a knowledge of their development/release schedule that others are unaware of. It was a statement made with absolute certainty with no qualifiers whatsoever. Seems fairly obvious what the implications of a statement like that in reference to games would mean.

That's true, I think we'll see a couple of repeats, and then maybe some indie games that weren't highlighted at Sony and Microsoft's conferences or haven't been grabbed up yet. I think we'll get a couple of good things from it, but maybe nothing monstrous. The three hour length might hurt things. It mentions on the main page, "new game reveals, updates on beloved series, and perspectives from key PC developers." I wonder if the last part means a few Carmack-style breakdowns of the PC landscape from certain people.

That post is still there.

Also you did miss the rest of the post and focused on one area, but I edited it to make it easier for you to understand so let's not go too much on this now my good buddy.

3 hours? See that worries me right there. That's a large amount for a first conference, and we still don't know how they at organizing it don't we? If so a little concerned, luckily e3 is around the 3 weeks away range.

Anyway let me Brea from this thread for awhile, my presents is causing a separate issue.

No because the post says they don't need Zelda, your post comment and few weeks comment is exaggerated.

Again if I came off that way, my bad, didn't seem like it, take with grain. Like I said will take Brea Fr. This thread. Also forum posts shouldn't infuriate you.

Anyway, don't look too much into.my posts other members, don't want to get in any trouble.

This is absolutely how I would have read it if you had not edited it (I see the original version, just to be clear).

As a poster thus far, you seem uncomfortable with the expression of uncertainty and measured statements generally. I suggest you familiarize yourself rapidly.

Opiate.. tsk tsk

Have there been any clues as to what Sanzaru might be working on? I looked on Gamasutra and their job listings are quite explicit in saying they making a multiplatform game.

I think the bolded part is what you need to stop. If you knew what you were getting into beforehand, you wouldn't be making those edits, no?

As much as I would love to see a new Metroid or Donkey Kong Country game from Retro Studios, it would be nice to see Nintendo once again taking a risk with a new IP (i.e., Splatoon).

Prior to the announcement of Tropical Freeze, one of the rumours going around (or perhaps it was just speculation; I can't recall) was that Retro was preparing a brand new FPS. While this didn't turn out to be accurate, it definitely intrigued me at the time.

I really kind of wish Horizon were First Person, only to give the robo dinosaurs more scale, so they would look even bigger and more frightening.

But I will take the Third Person view as well.

I think Horizon is the one I'm most excited about come E3.

Dunno. But Media Molecule will 100℅ not show their new IP this E3.

They won't show it until Tearaway is out.

Seems like a rational assessment now that you mention it. But it seems like since tear away is a reintroduction they could have a new game to preview with a full blow out at another trade show. I wonder what other studio would Sony allow to handle all of their I.P in one game. I might be reading too much into it though.

I know Tearaway is a "remake", but I would imagine they want to sell people on it, and only focus on that one project, before introducing a whole new IP. I just don't see it happening.

Look at all that passion and anger lol

What's the source for this?

I wonder if this deal was made in advance of the 2013 E3 reveal. It's amazing how poorly this turned out for both CD and Square. On one had they have the original Xbox release being overshadowed by the bevy of releases in the holidays (Halo 5, Battlefront, Call of Duty, FIFA, etc.). Afterwards, the PS4 release will be competing with Uncharted 4. It really doesn't bode well for either version. If Square is smart, they'll delay the game until Spring, and release the PS4 version next Winter.

So the PS4 version will be the one overshadowed by the biggest releases of the year? Sounds like a lose-lose situation to me. Their deal with Microsoft seemed dumb at the time and seems even dumber now. At this point, I think they should just get the PS4 version out as soon as they can. If that happens to fall in the same month as Uncharted then so be it. Late ports don't tend to do well anyway, so delaying it longer isn't really going to help.

Here's a little game to play to pass the time. At what events do you guys think the following Sony games will be revealed?:
The Last Guardian E3
Horizon E3
Media Molecule's game PGW
Bend's game PGW
Gravity Rush 2 PGW
God of War 4 PSX
Quantic Dream's game E3
Gran Turismo 7 None of the above

I'm not sure TLG will show up this year but if it does, it'll be at E3. I also think GT7 will get its own event when it's announced, like GT6 did, though I doubt it'll be this year.

Tearaway Unfolded is being made in collaboration with Tarsier Studios. I'd say there's a big chance of MM's project popping up at this E3.

Yeah, but it's still a MM game at heart and positioned as such.

There's a 50:50 chance, really. I'm putting my odds at PGW rather than E3.

Here's a little game to play to pass the time. At what events do you guys think the following Sony games will be revealed?:
The Last Guardian PSX - Release Date: Holiday 2016
Horizon E3 - Release Date: Early 2016
Media Molecule's game PGW - Release Date: Summer 2016
Bend's game E3 Release Date: Summer 2016
Gravity Rush 2 TGS - Release Date: Fall 2016
God of War 4 PSX - Release Date: Early 2017
Quantic Dream's game PGW - Release Date: Fall 2016
Gran Turismo 7 TGS - Release Date: Holiday 2016

Basically, starting from Q1 2016 i think they'll have two big profile games for each quarter: Horizon+SFV for Q1, UC4+R&C for Q2, MM+Bend(+Morpheus) for Q3, Quantic Dream+Gravity Rush 2 for Q4, GT7+TLG for Holidays and GOW4+Level 5 IP for Early 2017.

The return of Kevin Butler, VP of the Most powerful console in the world.

Shenmue 3 for iOS announced from Sega. Next day hundreds of Sega fans go on a unrelenting gun rampage. E3 is ended early.

Nintendo as a publisher has taken risks with a lot of new IPs. Project Steam recently, for example.

Nintendo EAD as a developer has taken significantly less risk, and I think that's what people are complaining about when they complain about a lack of new IPs. So I don't think Retro creating a new IP would really change that.

I'm (happily) expecting about 67% of all video games ever made to receive a remaster this E3 and I'm afraid to buy anything that isn't fresh off the oven.

I'm actually starting to get more excited for Bethesda's showing. I need more PC games, and Doom, Dishonored 2 and Fallout 4 will fit in.

Do you guys think they'll announce both Fallout 4 and Dishonored 2?

And I still haven't really gotten into Dishonored or New Vegas yet. But I will eventually come around to them.

Maybe a lose lose for PS4 owners, might now be a better situation for Microsoft though now that Uncharted 4 isn't there to compete against. Why would they get the PS4 version out faster if they already have an agreement with Microsoft just because Uncharted 4 got delayed?

What are you talking about? Did you read his post? Why are you bringing console wars into this? He said that releasing the Xbone version this holiday season and competing with all the huge AAA games there, then releasing the PS4 version next year against Uncharted 4, was a bad idea. So he suggested that Square Enix should delay the Xbone release until early next year and then release the PS4 version in late 2016. That's why I said it's a lose-lose situation for Square Enix, because even if you did do that, they're not in a great position.

I also don't know where you got the impression I said they should get the PS4 version out faster. I said they should get it out as soon as they can, you know, when the exclusive window ends (which is probably in the range of 3-6 months).

Here's a little game to play to pass the time. At what events do you guys think the following Sony games will be revealed?:

The Last Guardian - E3. I'll say what I said last year: this year is the year.
Horizon - E3. Sony will treat this as a big deal I suspect.
Media Molecule's game - Tricky one to call. MediaMolecule are a British dev that usually seem to favour appearing at a European event. Whatever they're working on is apparently a game-changer though, so I say E3.
Bend's game - PGW. It'll be a smaller-scale title, perfect for Gamescom PGW.
Gravity Rush 2 - TGS. However, I'm predicting that the Remaster of the first game gets announced at E3.
God of War 4 - E3... next year. Balrog ain't pulling our dicks.
Quantic Dream's game - We haven't heard a peep from QD in a long while now. I think they're still balls deep in the early phase of whatever it is they're working on, and we won't see it for a good while.
Gran Turismo 7 - E3 next year. It's Polyphony, they won't be able to show off the next GT yet with the rate they work at, unless Sony pushes them to announce super early.

Just a hunch, but does anyone else think that Uncharted 4 gets delayed again until 2016 holiday? I just can't see Sony missing out on their flagship game being launched during a holiday season. I guess it all depends how Sony does against MS' holiday push this year.
I mean, you wouldn't see MS put a Halo or Gears out in the spring. It works for 3rd party games, but a HW manufacturer's goal is to push out their systems. What better way to do that, then during the Holiday season when 90% of the world is buying gifts for one another?

God of War - March franchise

Nuff said.
