I almost didn't play SF#... Are the characters supposed to cover HUD in those shots above?
Of course it hits new page, hah. You know what I mean anyway.

My thoughts exactly. How did something like this make it past certification?
Seems silly not to handle it themselves or at least check the damn port before it goes out.

Was this a Gio joint? I like the guy, but, sounds like he needs to step up his port game. Borderlands 2 on Vita should have been a sign.
Wonder if this is jumping the gun or not.
it's not really a new thing to outsource especially when your current employees working on things.
I don't think Gio actively sits down and does the port himself.
People seem to be confused about certification.
Certification is not about noticing frame dips and stuff. that's for in house QA..
Capcom just shot themselves in the foot.
I don't know how much the rest of you know about FGC culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in casual land where you can become successful by being incompetent. If you screw someone over in the FGC, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.
What this means is that the FGC, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase USF4 and SFV for the PS4, nor will they purchase any of Capcom's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Capcom has alienated an entire market with this move.
Capcom, publicly apologize and cancel USF4 and SFV for PS4 or you can kiss your business goodbye.
It has to be. Who didn't see that nerf coming?Lol, I just saw the Decapre vine. I hope it's not a sign of a future nerf :x
Cert is to see if a game runs. Q&A failed to see where the problems where with the input lag.
LOL... well played, sir. Well played indeed.
So from this thread, I can't tell whether the PS4 version will be the EVO one. If so, Capcom better get their stuff together.
Utterly fuming I blind-bought this digital. No idea it wasn't being handled by the original team.
The store page promises "smoother gameplay" than the PS3 version. Wonder can I get a refund on that.

Why couldn't at least Iron Galaxy have gotten the USFIV PS4 porting job?
They did decent ports of Dungeons & Dragons: Tower of Doom + Shadow Over Mystara (Chronicles of Mystara) for multiple platforms, while Capcom / original arcade staff handled the Japanese PS3 retail / physical version themselves.
Bad port isn't exactly a great selling point, what were you expecting them to say?
I hope this is just a ps4 thing and not an actual nerf.
aren't they busy working on KI?
I really wonder how Capcom will react to this ... Didn't anyone from Capcom USA try out the game before it launched? They have some good players working there too like Combofiend.
I understand people are upset and annoyed, but why not wait for patches?
I'm just throughout this out there, of the people that are having issues, do you have over 100 friends on your friends list?
As is I would not expect the PS4 version to be at EVO.
I don't think they will be able to fix everything before CEO as it's only a month away. There is a small chance they'll get some things fixed before EVO. I guess it will be up to the EVO staff to decide if enough has been fixed.
Lol at the people bitching about "Press Start". I really hope all of the supposed issues are ironed out by the time Evo rolls around. I was thinking of buying in the near future, will keep monitoring gaf for impressions/improvements.

I kind of expect some patch work in the next couple of weeks. I won't go into full disappointed mode yet.
