PlayStation E3 Experience 2015 Announced (Theaters)

Wasn't able to get tickets but i don't feel bad after the House statement basically confirmed no big secret announcements for this year. I'm OK watching from home for 3rd party marketing and 2016 and beyond announcements.

Got my email 10 minutes after registering. It's my first time going. Super pumped.

I went last year and had a good time. I got to keep both lanyards, posters, got the $5 in store credit, and the Destiny Alpha. I'm so excited. I just registered online. I haven't gotten my e-mail confirmation yet.

Did anyone screw up with information? I accidentally put my e-mail as my address. Oops. I redid it. I hope they don't think I'm trying to steal seats. I got two tickets.

I was pissed off last year. I invited the group I use to LAN with and ZERO went. One even bought a PS4, but they couldn't stand anything outside their personal taste and they can rarely look something up on the internet unless it's a MMO wiki page. I just had to ignore it. I knew a few people who went last year. I had a great time. It's a wonderful experience. I wish I could go to E3 sometime in the future. I bought those people games too. What a shame. It's so dull hearing someone wants to enjoy games with you, but hates just about everything exciting about the video game industry.

Any advice from people who went last year? Can I just show up when the conference starts because i already have my ticket, or should i get there early anyways?

You go up to the theater, show your ID, give your information, get the tickets, then wait in line. They don't seat until 10-15 min before it starts. You'll see a line of people waiting outside the screen.

I think they give some of the tickets away on a waiting list. Like if people don't show up or they have some left over. I wouldn't count on it if you live in a big city. You could most definitely try.

I got there 15 minutes before the conference started. I didn't really feel like sitting 10 feet away from the big screen.

I got there around a hour early last year and there was already a pretty long line. You should get there somewhat early if you want to pick a decent seat in theater.

I was trying to register on my laptop and Cell with 2 different emails, my pc work and I saw a confirmation number. The phone didn't it kept saying error after I entered all the info. The email I just got was for that sign up that kept saying error and I still havn't got the one that actually went through and gave me a confirmation number.

Got another two tickets for my friends, now waiting on the damn email confirmations.....would the confirmation number be enough to bring or do I have to receive the email that's taking forever...

LMAO, thread is an emotional rollercoster. Glad to see people were able to actually get through. I'll be at the Louisville showing.

Did you get a confirmation email? My girlfriend and I signed up for Louisville at roughly 2:30 PM EDT and we still haven't gotten a confirmation email, just the registration success page.

I felt bad last year because a guy and his girlfriend were sitting next to me and I spilled my drink on his lap. I apologized and he said it was okay, but this brought back that whole thing. I even apologized when I left.

had a little outburst earlier (sorry haha) got a succesful registration, but only a few minutes ago - no e-mail yet though. Does getting through guarantee I'll get my ticket?

You actually NEED to get there at least 20 minutes before the start.

According to the confirmation email I just got (PLUTONIUM!!), your 'seats are guaranteed until 15 minutes prior to show start. At that time, all guests including wait list guests will be seated based on priority in the line.'

Guys just be patient about the email; if you got through and received a confirmation number, you will eventually get the confirmation email. Just takes a few hours, same thing happened last year--for me anyways.

you don't necessarily NEED to
it's better to judge depending on your area.
like someone said earlier, the Toronto one had only one screening, and everyone who waited in line got in (registered and waiting list) with a bunch of extra seats
