Got email confirmation to Times Square at 7:15, that's one hour and 45 minutes ago. I still don't know if the whole ordeal was worth the tickets, haha. But I'm sure it'll be a rather fun event.

Just saw this, clicked on Union Square NYC, started entering my information for two tickets, realized I should probably just watch it at home, clicked back on my browser and saw that it was sold out.

Did I just get REALLY lucky on that timing and give it up? Still think I'd rather watch at home while reading GAF, if it stays up.

I have a friend who got on the waiting list first registering, and a managed to get a ticket on the second. He has yet to get an email for the ticket.

There was a bit of shouting and even clapping last year. It's not handled like watching a movie at the theater.

I hope that's pretty cool for the people who go are all really excited and pumped and that creates a nice atmosphere.

I still think I prefer my experience at home ordering in BBQ or pupusas and typing on GAF about every new game announced. I'll probably end up making a word document and jot down every game I plan to buy because of the hype.

Got waiting list email like 4 hours ago (about 5 hours after I signed up), then I got my seat confirmation email like half an hour ago for NYC Union Square.

So just to clarify, signed up got wait list, then signed up when it was still showing tickets seating available. Got both emails about 4 hours apart.

Anyway, 2 hrs later I tried again and I successfully got a registration number, but still no confirmation email... It's been 7 hrs now? I'm damn loosing hope, lmao. Keep your ticket confirmation # with you.
For now you have a waiting list confirmation. According to the other gaffers, their similar scenario ended up successfuly. You may have a chance of getting your ticket email confirmation.

Many keep getting their tickets, I got mine not even a couple hours ago. As of right now you're likely waiting on a confirmation e-mail that should get to you.
