Maybe. It's just that Splatoon isn't a crossover series, so... Then again, neither is Codename Steam and the game got the Fire Emblem amiibo content.
Maybe they could release F.L.U.D.D as an extra weapon as well.

Well my Walmart tracking on my Amiibo updated. It's set to arrive on Wednesday.
If by some miracle I see it at Best Buy tommorow I'll probably pick it up there (GCU discount) and return the Walmart order.

What's the purpose of the display under your coins total when you're waiting to join a match?
You can join a game a friend is in right away I believe. I haven't seen any videos of that being locked. You won't stay on the same team though as teams are randomized every match. So so games you'll be against each other and might be on the same side. The other team options won't be in the game until August it looks like.

I think it just shows a win streak with a tag. It doesn't affect anything I don't think.
I think it's a 10% discount, on eshop, but only in Europe(?) having trouble finding info on that right now.

You can buy your way through additional slots but that costs a lot of money. Alternatively, the equipment they wear has a star count of 3.
Well, some people like journalisms were able to play some days ago and same or lucky guys so they had the time to grind, imo.
