Oh thank goodness! I was just about to post asking this.
For some reason I seem to persistently get my controller into a situation where it is just impossible to turn right until I re-centre with "Y".

Man this has not been a good morning for me. I haven't exactly changed much of my play style but I've been sucking this morning and constantly losing and is the last place on the team. Really odd because last night I was always top 1 or 2 with massive winning points. Confounded !

This game is really addicting!

It's the most fun I've had playing a single player shooter. This game all round is pure quality

I hope they don't do this 2 stages at a time once we get all the stages.

There's a fairly obvious space in the stage list in the lobby and waiting screen for a third map. So would assume we'll upgrade to 3 later in the summer.

Taking a break. Made it to level 15 but running into pro players who keep decimating my teams. Also my trigger hand hurts. Ow

That feeling when you wake up wanting to play Splatoon, the maps just switched, and one of the current maps is your least favorite. =/

Anyone think it'd be valuable to make a SplatoonGAF thread where people can talk about the match they just played two seconds ago and let the OT be the one to talk about the game itself? Because as it is not, this thread is impossible to keep track of since everyone is using it like it's irc.

Talking about the match you just played is talking about the game. I don't see how it's any different than someone talking about the level they just played a minute ago or the boss they just beat a minute ago in any other game.

Now I want to see a Splatoon speedrun. Some of these levels are intense with managing your ink and fighting enemies and platforming both on and off inkliing form all at the same time.

It's obviously gonna change when more maps are released and a third map is added to the rotation. I imagine it's just random.

Considering they're the ones who designed it this way they could have put more effort into it than just random. Over 3 rotations 6 maps can be played with only 5 available maps. If in the previous 2 rotations a map hasn't come up it should get priority in the third rotation.

Yes, it will be less of an issue later but that we're dealing with it now is more important.

It's been said a thousand times in this thread, but wow, this game is addictive. My girlfriend, who would never play a shooter otherwise, cannot put this game down. Since we've gotten it, she has probably played twice as much as I have, and I don't mind at all. It's very entertaining to watch, and it's interesting to see someone approach a map differently than you might approach it.

I am almost level 14, and starting to hit some pretty stiff competition. The level 18s and 20s have maxed out gear, and some of the combinations they put together are intimidating.

From looking at the SplatoonJP twitter feed, it sure looks like their next update will be about Splat Zones being unlocked; the ink-tube was nearly full 13 hours ago on their last update. Looking forward to how chaotic that mode will become!

A level or boss are shared experiences that can be understood by anyone with the game. The comments about GAF matches here are only relevant to the 8 player in that match.

My cousin and best friend got Splatoon yesterday. Why do I post this? They both have a ps4, their only Wii U games were Smash and MK8. No matter how much I tried to convince them to try TW101 or Pikmin3, they didn't care. But they got Splatoon. /anecdotal evidence this game could be big.

A bit surprised how addicting I find the game tbh, the feeling of winning or losing a match by 0.1% just stays with you haha.

I really really hope it sells well enough to justify a sequel, the possibilities are incredible. The single player is such a lot of fun and quite varied. Especially enjoying the amiibo challenges. The limited ink ones are frustrating in the best way.

Up to level 15, for the sake of my confidence I will stay away from gaf matches for now
