Doesn't stop me from playing charger, even though I usually won't top the charts with them. A varied team can be very good. I really want to try out splat zones now though.
Splat Chargers are good on most maps as well.

Moe is a bastard. Why do you have to wait for his dialogue to finish? I always try to skip it, but then end up trying to rebuy the item because I'm pressing A.

Also, it's interesting that you can register a nickname for the Amiibo. Getting ready for when you can play as them in Smash? lol
Also, wasn't this game supposed to let you choose between two different soundtracks? Or did I just misunderstand posts about how much variety there is in the songs?

That final boss might just be the most fun I had in years. Like holy shit, he wasn't all that difficult but oh so fun and the music... I felt like Jet Set Radio has taken over for a minute.
I need more single player Content Nintendo. Tons more. The mechanics are just too awesome not to expand upon.

Do shops re-stock clothes daily then?
If I level, do they replace stock on the same day? (just leveled up and the shop owners went through the usual "hey you look fresher than fresh", but stock looks the same).
Really enjoying this so far, the loading mini games would be better if they persisted through loading in to the game/match.

Yeah I use the aerospray ms I'm pretty sure it gives u more points than anything spraying the same amount of turf

)I mean compared to other shooters. There really is no point in using them that much compared to the high RoF ones.
The chargers and rollers provide different kinds of roles, which helps them having a place in Turf War.

Wow that was a tough fight in the middle.
Well they are the best at painting ink.
But a diversified team in terms of weapons usually win. Somebody with a good kill weapon can be helpful in disrupting opponents' time to ink while other teammates do the inking of major territories.
Had a match where my team just disconnected and I was on my own, I tried my best in defending the base but it was 4 against 1. ;_;

Anyone think it'd be valuable to make a SplatoonGAF thread where people can talk about the match they just played two seconds ago and let the OT be the one to talk about the game itself? Because as it is not, this thread is impossible to keep track of since everyone is using it like it's irc. 
I've played about 5 hours this weekend with my gf. We both love the online so far. We keep switching off between rounds. I wish you could make a second character, unless I am missing it. I feel bad that she couldn't make her own character. It would also be nice if we could both play online at the same time.
The battle dojo is pretty boring. We only played that a couple of times.
Overall this game is a blast. I can't wait for the new modes/features to come. I have a feeling that if this game is successful Nintendo will learn from it and make Splatoon 2 an early NX game.

That happens in any competitive multiplayer OT though, just look at the Smash Wii U/3DS and Mario Kart 8 OTs.

You guys weren't joking about the Aerospray. I went on an 8-win streak after unlocking it, and it only ended because one person on my team went afk. They really should kick people for doing that. He had no points at the end of the match.

Did a test and managed to get 868p without killing anybody. Mostly just painted every nook and cranny of the whole base and middle part since all the others just went for kills near the enemies base.

I just leaped over a seeker and killed it's unleasher mid-air. Didn't even know I could do that! I think I'll end on that note, good games everyone!
