Just port the fucking Halo trilogy to Steam already.
Sell a couple million more copies.
Sell a couple million more copies.
MS have been upping their PC support in the last 18 months/2 years, only going to do more. Probably announce some of the XB1 games they have at their conference for the show, perhaps some other ports too
Xbox covers their console, PC and mobile plans, Head of Xbox -> Head of Windows gaming. They want their new store to sell games, makes sense he is there to try and appeal to that audience
Because-Why so negative?

"PC games are very important to us, but we actually have nothing new to announce. Well here some trailer for that Fable game no one cares about."

Probably because for the last like 10 years Microsoft hasn't given the slightest to PC gaming? I think it's fair to be negative at that point.
It's like your dad not being around for 10 years but continuing to make promises, at some point it's okay to call him a twat.
Because-

I'm guessing Killer Instinct PC.
How? I haven't noticed.MS have been upping their PC support in the last 18 months/2 years
Probably talking about Windows 10 game streaming or DX12.
How? I haven't noticed.
Halo: Combat Evolved shipped on the original Xbox and Windows 98, and Halo 2 came to PC after the Xbox 360 version. And for Windows 8 we shipped Halo: Spartan Assault and then just recently Halo: Spartan Strike.
Game streaming isn't particularly exciting since Steam's version has been working pretty fantastically across multiple OS, while Microsoft's solution is so far limited to Windows. Windows 10 in general should be a bit more interesting
The PC has seen quite the slide into the dregs of the Halo franchise. Didn't even bother bringing Halo Wars to the PC, which would have made a ton of sense, but shit isometric dual stick shooters, check.
He did an interview on why they are part of the show
http://www.pcgamer.com/interview-phil-spencer-on-why-microsoft-is-joining-the-pc-gaming-show/
Phil Spencer said:You can absolutely count on us to invest in games for the PC.
Whats the profit margin difference between the XBox One and a copy of Windows?
What makes you think we will see any more up-ports?
from the interview. Also, we want to make clear that when we talk about Xbox going forward, were talking about gaming on all Windows 10 devices PCs, tablets, phones, Xbox One and HoloLens. And well talk about some of the games we have coming to the PC this year.
from the interview.
The games you're referring to are mobile games ported to PC, they were not built for PC first.
Enjoy your Fable Legends game play trailer.
More DX12 talk.
Why so negative?
I'm excited for it.
All I want from MS is a wireless dongle for the xbone controller
Killer Instinct or Sunset Overdrive I think
I don't know about other people, but the reason I'm being negative is history. You know what happens to those who don't learn from it.Oh.. you mean they're not just going to show a Fable trailer?
But I thought that's the reason we were being negative?
Exactly.Ugh... I can't believe Microsoft would put in the effort to make my hardware perform better....
So you can see the future?
An announcement on the Xbox One controller dongle would be pretty nice.
We might also get a game reveal for the rumored RTS title.
I'm not expecting anything noteworthy to be honest, but if they announced a game or two that would be pretty sweet. KI and anything Forza related would be excellent.
I can see killer instinct and forza 5 or horizon 2. But the only halo game would be halo online. I don't think they wanna put mainline halo in pc. As for SO, who knowsthose and I think MCC is coming.
It's a video game company... not a family member.
People would say the same thing about Linux, Android and iOS support 10 years ago... look at it now.
Microsoft is developing a API that will make pretty much all gaming hardware on PC better, that by itself should by triumphant.
Just the link I was looking forI don't know about other people, but the reason I'm being negative is history. You know what happens to those who don't learn from it.
Exactly.
I've heard for years, "Microsoft doesn't give a shit about PC gaming".
Now some on here bellyache when Microsoft tries to reach out to PC gaming.
