Oh god. Switching back to Aero in ranked was a big mistake.

I need friends to stop me from making these kind of mistakes. SMH.

Aero is really really good, but you have to be good with your movement and determine to yourself whether you want to generate team support with Seekers and do a lot of PvP hunting with your gun and Inkzooka when using the silver variant or if you want to maintain win conditions for your team with Inkstrikes while harassing people into traps with Mines when using the gold version.

That said, I'm started to experiment with some other things. The .52 Gal Deco is so amazing (for basically having the loadout I most wanted - Seekers & Inkstrike) and gels well with my ninja squid tactics. On the other hand, the Jet Squelcher/Splash Wall/Inkstrike loadout is great since it gives me some good range and precision and really clutches some rounds out when I have to play defense on a territory for longer than planned.

Just had a fellow team of level 7s take out a team of level 17s and above. Good times.

Marie's always right. Swag over stats.

Now excuse me while I add everyone in that wall of shame to my friend's list.

Great title. Honorable Splatoon is the first online multiplayer I've really tried to get into. Let's see how long it'll last past August.

In other new finally opened my Amiibo.

I'm really great with Aero on turf, but I can't seem to get a grasp on it, when it comes to combat (ie. Ranked). I always get caught out in close combat, and it's just game over. Great tips though, I appreciate you carrying it over from the other thread. Hmmm. I need to try .52 Gal Deco. A lot of people are recommending that line of weapons.

Since we moved threads, this is the last thing I said:

---

I kind of hate Roller's (and the people that use them). I for the most part, believe this game is balanced. And I am far from anyone that could ever comment on these kind of things. But as an avid player, I can at least figure out there is a counter for most weapons/abilities.

And I know how to counter Roller's. But damnit, the majority of the time I see people that use them, they pretty much suicide themselves (ie. they run into other rollers playing chicken and kill each other. Or they run into someone and get shot in the face and die as they take you down with them). Also, nothing more frustrating then them running into you and INSTA death lol. But it's the suicides that drive me nuts.

The only good weapon-type is roller, all others are subpar.
When the newcomers realize this, it'll
raise my k/d ratio
make for a more enjoyable game.

damn. After the news event thing. Nobody on my friend list is playing online right now. I was doing good beating neoxon.

I might GAF it up too as I think they overhype their rooms too much.

I don't know, if KartGAF was any indication, this place gets really brutal, really quickly. I feel like I'm probably better at MK8 than I am at Splatoon, too, though part of that may still be from all the aforementioned weapon testing. Someday I'll probably settle down with my old girlfriend(s) .52 gal and .96 gal, but the thrill of the chase is still so strong! D:

I prefer Aero RG with Inkmines for Splat Zones. It becomes a more versatile role.

Oh, I made it to the wall of shame. Hurray?

The real Splatoon starts here.

Kind of wanted this for the thread title, tbh.
