Unlimited Blade Works.
2016? So soon?
But Miyazaki recently finish Bloodborne. Maybe that means that this is not directed by him just produce like ds2 or that he is very good at managing projects.
This might actually be a good thing. DS 2 felt bloated with too many uninteresting boss encounters.
Also, a Souls game in 2016 wouldn't be annualized. If it's late 2016 it's 2.5 years in fact.Agreed. The problem is not annualized games per se, it0s their drop in quality. So far, all Souls games are amazing.
I really wouldn't worry. If they're negotiating anything, it's just the when, not the if.PC version is not negotiable
Easily over a million. There's two subs for DS2.

Maybe it's some sort of DS1 remake/reimagining?

Just trying to make sense out of the new bosses and enemies thing.
I don't understand this sentiment at all.Do people enjoy waiting for Vaporware like TLG and VersusXIII and Silent Hills ?
FROM has shown that they're more than capable of putting out the best games in the industry in a timely fashion,we should embrace that. Not wish for these games to take 6 years to come out.
Anyway, nothing lasts forever and there will come a time when we look back in disbelief at this golden age ,all while bitching and moaning about a hypothetical future FROM that's a managerial mess.
Just like people mock modern SE's incompetence and constantly compare the current FF output to PSX~early PS2's era almost annual FF output.
For some reason, something feels a little 'off' about this...
It looks really similar to DS2, could it be more DLC for Scholar of the First Sin?
As much as I adore From Software it's pretty clear that their games need more development time. Demon's/Dark/Blood all have very similar formula and I can easily see myself and many others burning out on annual releases. Do you thing the only two options are release all the time or release never at all?
Don't you think that if From spread their ideas over a longer period of time than that hypothetical future From Software might not be the mess you predict it to be?

Seriously, its less than half of what Souls 2 had. I want these screenshot to be real, but I am not excited if there's really a significantly smaller number of bosses in this game in comparison to the last.
Did the same console team do the PC ports? Why do people keep suggesting it doesn't make sense to show this stuff if Bloodborne DLC is coming? That's by far the BEST time to do it. It won't be out for a year, so in anticipation more are likely to purchase BB DLC. This has happened forever. It's like saying Bethesda shouldn't unveil Skyrim because they're busy selling New Vegas DLC.
Also, there hasn't been a single PC Dark Souls game that released same day as console versions. I'm guessing this is the negotiation aspect of PC version. I mean, it's much harder to port from 360/PS3 to PC than it is to do PS4/XONE to PC because of the x86 architecture. But they did and for likely less money than they would receive today. There's just no logical reason they wouldn't release it for PC, if they were willing to do it when it was more difficult for less money.

This all looks like PS3 footage. I bet they're going for 60 fps on XB1/PS4.
1-4 players. I'm surprised more people aren't analysing this. Scholar of the first sin allowed 4-6 players at once.
Bloodborne had like... what? 17 bosses?
15 new bosses, plus reused bosses from past games, seems reasonable, especially if the bosses are going to transform.

I not so sure about the sacrifice mechanic. I played DS2 after Blooborne and it was great getting back to the straightforward symbol-summon system after the bell system.
I know right? If it's fake, From please hire those faker artists 'cause their game looks bloody amazing. I really want to play that game.all those images... I need this. NOW.
I totally read this as...i am interested and this
He's the president of From Software. He can direct whatever he likes!seems real, but how can Hidetaka Miyazaki be involved in this as a director?
SotFS has far simpler geometry and assets since it was a last-gen port. These screens are closer to Bloodborne in terms of fidelity and assets, and BB runs at 30 FPS. So keep your expectations in check. If you're desperate for 60 FPS, there's always PC...30 fps would be just cruel, after this 60 fps SOTFS goodness on both consoles...
Is that pic for real? Seems like a trailer for a new expansion of some sort if the text there is in the video.
Maybe I misheard but what does 45 new enemies and 15 bosses mean? Like what is that being compared to?

Kill enemy -> Acquire bonfire?

Hmm interesting. Wonder if you'll be able to essentially make your own bonfires by using a special sword, or some bonfires can only be lit by defeating a particular enemy.

What the fuckSOFS was a mistake, it's nothing but trash.
