I like it, some "sword arts" could make your character agile like in Bloodborne, while others could slow you down, but increase your ability to wield shields, or some could make you more efficient with magic...etc.
It's actually a phenomenal feature.
I'm skeptical. The screens look legit, but there's way too much info in this leak given that this is the first we've seen of the game. Even the huge Bloodborne leak didn't have this much info about the game.
Back when Dark Souls 2 was announced, I got the impression the new director really wanted a somewhat more traditional story presentation (like a mix of more traditional stuff on top of all the item/world things) based on the initial fact sheet, but about two months later they started making very different statements, insisting it'd be like the older games.
If it's not Miyazaki, I could see them being given more rope this time to actually do it given that they successfully launched a game.
Sure this is not Bloodborne expansion?
Sure this is not Bloodborne expansion?
Gonna have to watch out for those katanas though :lol
After the reception of Bloodborne compared to Dark Souls 2 would that be the case?
For people who never got to play BB and like what they had on DS2 people will be alright with it, though a split will occur for people who can't deal with BBs combat and the long range or shield bearing types.I guess that's enough for some, but after having played (and loved) all the Soul's games and especially after the improvements to the core combat that Bloodborne brought to the table, I think another game in that franchise will have to make some bigger changes or people will end up burning out on it.
Something doesn't add up, when did Miyazaki have the time to do all this?
The screenshots and the amount of detail about the game in the OP would only mean the game is in advanced stage of production, however Miyazaki only recently finished working on Bloodborne.

Both have those translucent swords? "Look at all the people who died here hahahaha you are fucked". Probably an online thing no?

Wait... how are their screenshots? And didn't Dark Souls sell more on the PC vs the consoles? Pretty sure it did
Each Souls game has sold a million copies a piece on Steam alone and they're saying PC is negotiable...
Wait... how are their screenshots? And didn't Dark Souls sell more on the PC vs the consoles? Pretty sure it did and if that's the case, why the hell would the platform still not a definite?
Plus it's all freaking x86! If it comes to either platform it should be a freaking easy port to the PC.
No PC, No buy!

Fuck this shit about returning armor and bosses. If I gotta see Havel's armor or some version of Ornstrin one more time.... C'mon.
Huge Souls fan but tired is tired, guys.
I would take that to mean a physical release, which they are probably negotiating with Namco.
Hopefully it doesn't happen, so Namco will not have to do regional price gouging to match retail and will instead-
bwahahahahhaahahaha
The bleeding sun is metal as hell. Please give this game the funeral doom soundtrack it so desperately deserves.
Er, source?

WTF IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN? ARE YOU SHITTING ME?
From/Bamco make it so difficult sometimes to support them when they keep fucking with their customers.
Sure this is not Bloodborne expansion?
Just because they say hes involved doesnt really mean much. Konami said Kojima was involved in various projects where he just slapped his name on it.
Not saying thats the case here but damn well they would like to get his name on the project no matter what because it can only help sales even if his involvement isn't as strong as people are hoping for.
Er, source?
Well, our only update on BloodBorne so far is it did 1 million copies.
Dark Souls 2 is over 2.5 million: http://www.siliconera.com/2015/04/1...units-dragon-ball-xenoverse-breaks-2-million/
Maybe someday BloodBorne surpasses that, but it's not like it just ran over Dark Souls 2.

Did you read the "Swords Arts" part?

Personally I'd be fine with some good long endings for once in this franchise.
