It's extremely likely that it sold better than the 360 version if you look at NPD & UK sales (the only two regions where the 360 was popular), it's not likely that it did better than the PS3 version though.
Perfect lolDark Souls III |OT| Are we sure this is not Bloodborne's expansion?
It's mentioned in the post, so yes. It sounds like a cool thing, especially for pvp. The 2 they describe basically seem like an attack with hyper armor and the ability to cancel out of an animation. But they must on a cool down or something similar because otherwise they sound like something that would just break the game. Animation priority is basically the core of Souls combat.
Sword Arts seems like the biggest departure from the formular in Dark Souls 3, but unless it's a very elaborate system where you can use more than one at once/combine arts, it doesn't seem like that huge a change. More like a new tool to play with, than a new tool box.
I'm thinking the same thing. The "additional enemies" and "new armors/weapons not counting existing" tag lines make me think this is about BB and not Souls III. Along with the "rush in and circle"...that's more BB gameplay. IDK it could be legit leak but I think they are thinking about the wrong game.
Well, our only update on BloodBorne so far is it did 1 million copies.
Dark Souls 2 is over 2.5 million: http://www.siliconera.com/2015/04/1...units-dragon-ball-xenoverse-breaks-2-million/
Maybe someday BloodBorne surpasses that, but it's not like it just ran over Dark Souls 2.
Bonfires and the exact same HUD as the souls games? Come on mangWait, isn't this that Deep Down game?
Wait, isn't this that Deep Down game?
Does Bloodborne have Soul Arrows?Sure this is not Bloodborne expansion?
Sold more than 1.6 million on the PC. Anybody knows how much it sold on PS3?

Each Souls game has sold a million copies a piece on Steam alone and they're saying PC is negotiable...

WTF IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN? ARE YOU SHITTING ME?
From/Bamco make it so difficult sometimes to support them when they keep fucking with their customers.
it probably means the release date is negotiable instead of "no PC release at all".
How many of those million copies were sold for $5?

Both have those translucent swords? "Look at all the people who died here hahahaha you are fucked". Probably an online thing no?
It's not like those two are the only "arts" in the game, I don't think they'll implement an all new combat system only for two "stances".
Because we don't know where this info comes from. It isn't like this how it is listed on their official website. This is from someone who leaked the game.Well why not just say PC release date TBA instead?
That's more Dark Souls 1 than 2. Most people paid full price or maybe half off for Dark Souls 2. For good reason too.
Link? The game has sold 2.5 million altogether and you are claiming 1.6 million from PC?
It sold ~950k on PC (without Scholars).
The PS3 version in Japan alone was ~350k (which is about ~40% of the worldwide PC sales).
We also know that the game sold 1.2 million in its first month before the PC release on PS360. By looking at the NPD & UK sales to see how much it sold on 360 (~170k, & ~40k respectively), & since nobody cares about the 360 outside of those two regions, it's not likely that it sold that much more in EU, Asia, & rest of the world. So the PS3 version outside of Japan could be anywhere between 800k-900k.
Bonfires and the exact same HUD as the souls games? Come on mang
I'm talking about the design cues it takes.
Bloodborne doing 1 million on one console versus Dark Souls 2 doing 2.5 million on four consoles and the PC isn't a surprising disparity. But I don't see how, knowing of Bloodborne's success, the design would be allowed to move further away from the franchise core - it's not like Dark Souls 2 hit a note (critically, or commercially when you consider the context of their release) that Bloodborne didn't.
But perhaps you are right and the director would just have more clout to pull off his vision given that DS2 wasn't a failure.
EDIT: Fuck it I don't really care, have fun lol
Yay Dark Souls 3

How in the fuck are From Software churning this out so quickly? My initial thought was quite obviously that the Dark Souls II team were working on the game but the Miyazaki rumour means that can't be right. Unless the DSII team were told to do some of the ground work and once Bloodborne production was finished, Miyazaki would then come to finish off the game.
That would make little to no sense though, so while I don't care about this game besides knowing Bloodborne 2 or Darkborne ain't gonna happen anytime soon, I'm just interested in the logistics side of things. For a 2016 game with Miyazaki having full involvement, the game won't have been in the oven for even 2 years and that would be assuming it's a December 2016 release.
Has no one ever directed 2 games at once in the history of game development?
They just started and it's releasing next year along with Bloodborne dlc? No, that doesn't sound unlikely at all.Who said he did? This game hasn't even been officially unveiled yet. They could have just started working on it and it might not be out til 2016 or 2017
