Too soon to call it the worst. But he has a point about it being limited by long/medium range attacks? Seems to be the least friendly combat weapon so far.

I tried using it w/ the stealth approach and failed hard. If I didn't pull off the flank, I would get caught out in combat and it was insta death

Whats worse? I can't think of another weapon that is bad at close, medium, and long range. Yeah you can make due with it if you're really good, but as a weapon its easily the worst in every stat besides speed.

Sorry, I meant, do you have an Ethernet adapter for your Wii U, or are you using wifi?

Tbh im awful at understanding how this works. I have really good Internet and am hard wired using the Adapter and have rarely gotten DC. My friend that lives near me with decent internet is using wifi and gets DC at a much higher rate.

All this said, maybe none of that has anything to do with lag/DC rate. I'm sorry about your situation though

Did that from C+ to C- Wednesday, couldn't win once in Blackbelly Skatepark. Today was better for me. I think you really gotta find a strategy in each map to set-up so a barely decent team can hold your back. Beacons are REALLY important imo so if I see no one is using one anywhere I switch to the Kraken and I'm almost always winning Skatepark now, even with DCs on my team

I kind of want to invest in these perks and try to use Paint Brush this way. Sounds awesome!

Only tried turf war. I either go for stealth or flank kills. If they don't notice you can just run up to them while 'rollin' and spam that sword in their face. When they do notice you you'll need to bait them into chasing you into a situation you'll have the upper hand. Been doing well so far, scores ranging from 700-1300.

I can get some kills with Inkbrush, but those require circumstances that could be achieved as well or better with any other weapon. I really don't see how getting somewhere first is that critical, even in Splat Zones, to give up so much. Not for me I guess.

If anything brush will be viable in splatzones because they will be the first to arrive to the zone, potentially bringing their team with them.

Yeah, if anything they're the "Gotta Go Fast" version of Seekers minus the explosion + a player character. They could potentially also be key in locking down the area first due to how wide an area they cover.

On another note, Inkbrushes would be so stupid with Beacons as a sub weapon.

The brush is great. I flanked an entire team charging the back area of saltspray and annihilated them.

Could be better with ninja squid, ink saver main, and maybe speed up?

That's what I'm rockin, been going good so far.

What gear do you have that allows all of that?

Would you mind explaining? When I used them, i wasn't using them right. I switched to something else that didn't have it (was using Custom Splattershot Jr. and switched to Splattershot Jr.)

Would like to go back to Custom and try the disruptor bomb right.

But I don't think its the game really, even Mario kart 8 is having some weird dcs, and that never happened before.

If your team has less points and is in control when the timer ends you get into overtime. it goes on until you either lose control of the zone (no need for the other team to get control, just for you to lose it) for more than 5 seconds (or 3, not sure) or as soon as you pass the other team.

That is all I play. Haven't touched splat zones over the past two days.

I wish Turf Wars were ranked. I would never touch Splat Zones again if they were. I can't wait till a new mode comes out for ranked, because Splat Zones feels like a science experiment to make the most frustrating game mode of all time. But now that it's here it's hard to go back to Turf Wars, because you earn so much less and so many of the weapons feel useless in Turf Wars.

Hell, I would prefer just a plain first to x amount of kills mode to Splat Zones.
